Why I Like Colourful Assemblies ๐
I am often attracted to groups of colours. Colourful assemblies teach me that even things that are different can come together to create a beautiful world. As soon as I see colourful groups like the ones in these photos, I canโt stop looking at them.
For example, I like to observe a fruit store, nature, an art supply store, a bookstore, a second-hand shop, a flower shop, or even an apparel store. I donโt necessarily want to buy too many products. I just enjoy observing them. If I can touch them, that gives me even more happy energy.
Iโve thought about the reasons why I like colourful things, and I can think of a few.
Visual stimulation: When many colours come together, they naturally catch the eye. The combinations are endless, and thereโs joy in watching them without ever getting bored.
Symbol of vitality and energy: Colourfulness conveys richness, liveliness, and joy. Like a field of flowers or a vibrant marketplace, it symbolizes the power of โbeing alive.โ
Harmony in diversity: Even when different colours come together, they can create a beautiful harmony. This often brings a sense of comfort and hope, and it can also reflect the diversity of people and cultures.
Personal feelings: Sometimes colourful scenes are tied to positive memories, such as childhood experiences, moments in nature, or encounters with art that make them feel special.
I think there are also other reasons, such as my neurodiverse way of thinking. I canโt easily decide on only one thing. When there are many options and choices, I feel relieved. However, itโs not always easy to select just one from them. I know itโs contradictory, but I love observing many colourful options.
