We’re super happy with our totally non-professional team of two 😄 just trying to do something different—diving into unknown waters to explore the wonders and struggles of learning something on our own.
After a month of figuring out how the Hive network works, I finally managed to set up my own physical node, which is now running in Ecuador. We’ve got our first Hive earned and are officially supporting the blockchain!
The node is now active with version 1.27.11—one of the latest. It took a lot of effort to understand the basics. I followed tons of guides, but there were steps that seemed obvious to people with experience that I had no clue about—like just opening a command terminal to run the commands needed to get the node working. With help from Copilot AI and Peakd guides, I managed to activate my witness node. For now, I’ll be helping with transaction reliability and block signing. I’m not trying to do everything at once—I want to learn how to manage and maintain my witness node properly. If all goes well, I’ll add more features later.
You can also see on hivestats.io that I’ve generated 1.34 HP from the witness node, which has been active for a few days. I think it started earlier, but I’m not sure exactly when it stopped syncing and began signing. I left the server running overnight several times.
My PC handles being on all day just fine, so it should be possible to keep the node stable—assuming no external issues mess things up.
Anyway, all the HP I’ve earned is used to rent more HP, which I use to vote on content within Hive. So #kozgamer now has a witness node and a curation account serving Hive! Feel free to support the project if you think it’s adding value to the community.

Estamos felices con mi equipo nada profesional conformado por 2 personas :b que solo busca hacer algo diferente, aventurarse en aguas desconocidas para buscar entre las aguas del conocimiento las maravillas y los dolores del aprender que trae buscar conocer algo por cuenta propia.
Es así que acabo de luego de un mes de trabajo entendiendo como funciona la red hive pude levantar mi nodo personal físico que reside actualmente en Ecuador, aquí tenemos nuestro primer hive obtenido y dando apoyo a la blockchain.
Esta activo ahora el nodo con la versión 1.27.11 una de las mas actuales la cual me tomo mucho trabajo entender conceptos básicos he seguido muchas guías pero existían pasos obvios para quien tiene conocimiento que no conocía como el simple paso de abrir una terminal de comandos para ingresar los diferentes comandos para hacer funcionar el nodo, con ayuda de la IA de Copilot y las guías de Peakd he podido activar mi nodo testigo que por ahora estaré ayudando en la confiabilidad de las transacciones y firmando bloques, por ahora no quiero llenarme de información y hacerlo todo, quiero ir aprendiendo como custodiar y mantener mi nodo testigo, luego podre añadir mas funciones si todo va bien en el aprendizaje.
De igual forma se puede ver en el registro de hivestats.io que he generado 1.34 HP de nodo testigo el cual lleva activo algunos días, pensaría que antes pero no se en que momento dejo de sincronizar para empezar a firmar, lo deje varias noches trabajando al servidor.
Mi pc soporta bien estar encendida todo el día, entonces será posible mantener una estabilidad del nodo, claro mientas no existan efectos de terceros que causen conflictos todo debería estar bien.
En fin todos los Hp reunidos son utilizados para rentar mas Hp el cual es usado para votar contenido dentro de Hive, entonces #kozgamer tiene un nodo testigo y una cuenta de curación al servicio de Hive !! No dudes en apoyar el proyecto si consideras es de aporte a la comunidad.
