Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. I've told my friends that my family has three farms. The first farm is the home garden, we grow vegetables and fruits in this garden only for eating. The second farm is a longan orchard (about 600 meters from my home), it has hundreds of longan trees and some other fruits. This longan orchard is a family business. We grow them to sell. And the third farm is a rice field, sometimes we grow corn too (About 1.5 kilometers from my home). On the third farm we grow them for sale. On the second farm, besides growing longans and other fruits, it has some area for growing rice for the family to eat. This post I will take my friends to see the rice fields on my family's second farm.
My wife and I walked to this rice field. The sky was clear and quite hot, even though it was morning (Around 8:10 a.m. after sending our son and granddaughter to school). We walked from our home in the village to the longan orchard first.

Our rice fields are behind the longan orchard. We have to walk through our longan orchard. Two weeks ago we planned to harvest the longans in about a month. But we changed the plan to harvest the longans tomorrow. Because the price of longans is more expensive now. But the price is much cheaper than last year. And we are not sure that price of longans will be cheap in the future.

As we walk through our longan orchard, we see our rice fields. My wife and I with wife's mother and brother sowed rice in the fields before the rainy season. Now it is a green area, the atmosphere is fresh and very nice. And in our rice fields, there are scarecrows too.
Finally I took friends to see the villagers' farm, which was near my family's longan orchard.
