Hello Worlmappin fam ๐ Let me take you to the unspoiled beauty of Black Island also known as Malajon Island to locals located in a remote island off the coast of Salvacion in the west of Busuanga. Black Island is is well-known for for its remarkable gigantic dark limestone rock structure karst cliff that's why is called Black Island. It's just a boat ride away from Coron mainland. Often it is part of boat tour or island hopping packages.
I like its pristine white sand with so many seashells on the seashore, perfect for sunbathing or just lying down for relaxation.
One of the island attraction are the caves. The caves is enormous at least forty feet, just a short distance to the island. It was four o'clock in the afternoon when we get in into the cave and it was so dark inside we have to use our flashlight to take a glimpse inside the cave. I was astonished at its whimsical natural shape.
The second cave is just near the first cave, but you have to climb up the wooden stairs to enter the cave. There are shimmering stalagmites and, stalactites and unique rock formations inside the cave.
There are natural fresh water pools embedded within the cave where you can swim with fishes. For water activities you can dive and marvel into the Nanchin Maru shipwreck a legendary World War II era Japanese tanker vessel which lies in shallow water within reach for inexperience divers and snorkelers. If you're not fan of diving you can do some snorkeling in the huge turquoise reefs of Black island.
Black island is ideal for those scouting serene escape from crowded tourist spot. Highly recommended island vacation for relaxing and peaceful bonding with family and friends ๐ Photos are mine, edited by Canva
