You need to hail a tricycle to get to Maquinit Hotspring. You have to passed through rough roads.

It's geothermal natural hotspring where geothermally heated underground by volcanic activity that lift upward to the ground. Heated water rises through natural cracks and faults. Hottest water cascade into a large pool.
I'm leaning on the stone-line pool. Wooden walkways connect the pool to Mangrove areas. This is the best place to rejuvenate to aching body to the soothing water of Maquinit hotspring. Water temperature is around 38 to 40 Celsius (102-104 Fahrenheit) perfect for easing your sore muscles.
This is the Maquinit small mangrove forest. There are mangroves and cashew trees in this forest. Unluckily, I haven't found a wild monkey. One of the Maquinit guidelines is not to feed the wilderness monkey.
At the back of Maquinit hotspring you can see the wonderful scenic landscape of the magnificent mountains, hills and enchanting island.I love this spot where I can breath fresh air that calms my heart and mind.
Beside me is the souvenir shop where you can buy local handicrafts and other items that support local artist. It's a great gift for your family and friends or just a simple remembrance for yourself.
This is my favorite tree at Maquinit Hotspring. I love its golden-yellow bloosom especially when it falls on the ground. It's so lovely to behold. Some, consider this tree as an important medicinal plant. Hope, I can plant this tree someday in my backyard.
