This is my first time having my lunch in the cafeteria of Central Philippine Adventist College. This college institution serves meatless dishes. They usually serve vegetarian food to the students.

One of my meal dish is Bamboo shoots vegetable. It's a Filipino cuisine in the Philippines particularly in Visayas region. A stew that is plant-based ingredients made with bamboo shoots or the young shoots of a bamboo plant is cooked in coconut milk, young corn ๐ŸŒฝ, taro stem or taro runner, lady's finger or gumbo. For non-vegetarian they put dried fish, crabs and shrimp into the bamboo shoot vegetables stew. I love this vegetable stew because of it's tasty flavor, creamy and unique texture.

My other dish is the vegetarian Estofado Filipino style. The flavor of this vegetarian dish is sweet and sour. This is made of ripe plantain bananas ๐ŸŒ, veggie meat a marinated seasoned gluten, the sweetness of bananas and sweet potato glazed in tomato sauce makes its sweet and savory.

My other food that I bought was Tikoy or nian gao. This is my first time to eat this kind of food. It's a sweet sticky rice, made from glutinous rice flour, water, and sugar. What I love most about this food it is has peanut butter and ground sesame seeds. I like its sweetness, soft and chewy texture. When food is delicious I crave more of it. ๐Ÿ˜Š
