So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “A FAMILY THAT EATS TOGETHER”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “GAP YEAR”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their thoughts on taking gap years between academic and professional milestones. This can be a good time to take a step back and strategize so that the individual can bounce back with more gusto and resolve.
However, we got to see the bad side of gap years, because despite its benefits, it can be hard for many people to find their way back once it’s taken. It can also be easy for such endeavors to become excuses for procrastination and laziness. So, for some, it just might be best not to start at all.

He sees a one-year gap as procrastination, and anything that needs to be done during that period can be done alongside whatever it is that the gap year is needed to be taken from.*
