So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “GETTING EDUCATION”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “GENDER EQUITY”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us their thoughts on gender equity in the family and society at large. It’s well known that often times, one gender gets sidelined to certain roles, which limits and stumps progress in other areas of life.
We got to see how such things are tackled. We all can agree that gender equity is battle that’s still being fought. What is needed is fairness for every human, regardless of their sex. When the world is fair, everyone will be more motivated to push themselves as far as they believe they can go. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.

The practice of inequality has eaten so deeply into the lifestyle that anything else that seems contrary to that may end up being ridiculed. That’s just how bad it can be.*
