So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “MODERN DAY SLAVERY”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “TO THE RESCUE”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their favourite fictional characters. If they were to get kidnapped and they had to choose one fictional character to come rescue them, they told us who exactly they would have picked.
We got to see the different characters that members love, and why they would pick them for such a daring mission. For many, they picked characters who are just ordinary humans but with impressive skills, while others picked those with superpowers or supernatural abilities. In the end, what matters is that they get rescued. It was an interesting topic, indeed.

This is a character that’s a police officer and deals mainly in kidnapping cases. So yeah, for someone with that amount of experience, he’d definitely be in a good place to rescue the author.*

Are there ways that slavery is still being practiced today? Maybe not literally, but in a way that is within the confines of the law.
