So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “THE LIE OF OMISSION”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “TIME AND AGAIN”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community sharing with us their thoughts on time travel and being able to go back in time to undo mistakes and change choices. This can be seen as giving ourselves second chances to get things done right, but it can also hold great danger. After all, if it can be so easy to erase our mistakes, how then do we learn from them?
While some supported the idea, others didn’t really agree with it. Humans are naturally flawed, and we’re built to learn from our mistakes. Going back in time to undo them could very well undo the lessons that had been gotten from that mistake. While time travel would be cool, but not everyone would be willing to use it to change their past. It was an interesting topic, indeed.

Destiny can’t be changed, and when we try to mess with history, it will definitely mess back. The goal shouldn’t be looking back and trying to change the past, it should be looking forward and making the best decisions now.*
