Donald Trump showed up in the Oval Office on Tuesday for the first time in a week, about 45 minutes late, to announce that U.S. Space Command is moving from Colorado to Alabama. The speech was short, but people online were more interested in how he looked. After a weekend of weird rumours about his health and even his death, a lot of viewers said he looked tired and “rough.” Some noticed his eyes, his skin, and even his hands- people joked he had extra makeup or maybe a facelift.
Trump didn’t really take it seriously. He laughed at the death rumours and said he’d been doing news conferences the week before just fine. He even took a shot at Joe Biden, saying nobody questioned him for skipping months of appearances. For all the talk about his looks, the point of the day was the Space Command announcement, though the internet clearly had other ideas.
