Dr Sayed Talibi, a doctor from Tamworth, Staffordshire, was struck off the UK medical register for multiple serious offenses. His misconduct included physically assaulting a woman, sexually penetrating her without consent, and threatening her with waterboarding, even contacting her in breach of a legal non molestation order.
He also made racist and derogatory statements, posted an image of himself performing brain surgery on a dating website without patient consent, and posed in photos holding guns, knives, and an axe. Additional misconduct included viewing violent videos, stealing £23.50 of milk powder, and providing false information to an energy provider.
The tribunal concluded that his behavior was fundamentally incompatible with practicing medicine, citing the seriousness of the offenses, lack of insight, and risk of repeating the behavior, and decided that erasure from the General Medical Council register was the only appropriate sanction.
