So much writing today. I’ve written 6400 words, and I’m pretty tired even though it’s not even my technical bedtime yet.
My D&D-inspired fantasy game is about 80% to its minimum viable product, though I’m sure there are going to be a few must-have fixes to do before long. It should release tomorrow on schedule for the RPGenesis jam one way or another.
Today’s daily game, the last of the dailies for a while, was When We Were Exiles. It’s sort of a collaborative group-first storytelling/roleplaying game with GM-optional mechanics and a risk-based oracle.
I didn’t manage to fit all the rules on the page and I didn’t have enough to justify a back side, so it’s another one where there’s a somewhat glaring mechanical error if you know what you’re looking for.
With that said, I’m still happy with it in broad strokes, I just wouldn’t have used 12-sided dice if I hadn’t had that mechanic to put in that didn’t wind up making it.
I got out for a morning walk today. It was too hot, but at least I did it.
God is good, life is good.
