Regresso novamente, desta vez para partilhar convosco a experiência da minha visita a Bordeaux, uma das mais prováveis capitais do Vinho ou talvez, indo mais longe, Bordeaux é sinónimo de Vinho.
Sempre que visito a França, com todos os seus imponentes monumentos, acredito que a este país não é só uma terra, mas sim, um modo de vida, com a cultura enraizada de sempre apresentar boa comida e bom vinho numa bela esplanada.
Visitei esta cidade num fim de semana, ou seja, passei 3 dias e 2 noites, e penso que é suficiente para ver as principais atrações. Caso desejem visitar, os Chateaux produtores de vinho na tão famosa Saint-Emillon existem algumas excursões que saem da cidade e podem usufruir de um dia completo, senão tem em alternativa transportes.
Cheguei ao aeroporto vinda de Lisboa num voo relativamente curto através da companhia bem conhecida na europa, EasyJet. Vinha visitar uma amiga que se tinha mudado para lá com o intuído de desenvolver um Doutoramento numa instituição.

I return again, this time to share with you the experience of my visit to Bordeaux, one of the most likely capitals of Wine or perhaps, going further, Bordeaux is synonymous with Wine.
Whenever I visit France, with all its imposing monuments, I believe that this country is not just a land, but a way of life, with the deep-rooted culture of always presenting good food and good wine on a beautiful terrace.
I visited this city on a weekend, that is, I spent 3 days and 2 nights, and I think that is enough to see the main attractions. If you wish to visit the wine producing Chateaux in the famous Saint-Emillon, there are some excursions that leave the city and you can enjoy a full day, otherwise there is an alternative to transport.
I arrived at the airport from Lisbon on a relatively short flight via the well-known company in Europe, EasyJet. I was coming to visit a friend who had moved there with the intention of developing a PhD at an institution.
Bordeaux fica no Sudoeste da França e historicamente tem algumas passagens muito interessantes como em tempos ter chegado a ser capital da França.
O centro da cidade é conhecido com Port de la Lune (Porto de Lua) pelo seu formato geográfico em formato de meia-lua sendo dividia pelo Rio Garona.
Bordeaux is located in the Southwest of France and historically has some very interesting passages, such as once being the capital of France.
The city center is known as Port de la Lune (Port of the Moon) due to its geographic shape in the shape of a crescent being divided by the River Garonne.
Passamos o fim de semana a fazer o que melhor se pode fazer nesta cidade, perder-nos pelas ruas e no tempo em caminhadas longas e demoradas.
Toda a cidade é um museu a ar livre com toda a sua arquitetónica a transportar-nos para outras épocas sendo que as ruas são largas e arborizadas.
We spent the weekend doing the best thing we can do in this city, getting lost in the streets and in time taking slow walks.
The entire city is an open-air museum with all its architecture transporting us to other times and the streets are wide and tree-lined.

Pelo fim do dia, há várias atividades que podem realizar nomeadamente ir a muitos dos estabelecimentos degustar vinhos locais a copo acompanhando de entradas, Nós fomos para um queijo e presunto e para mim, uma descoberta gastronómica, o pão com passas a acompanhar o salgado. Delicioso.
At the end of the day, there are several activities you can do, including going to many of the establishments to taste local wines by glass accompanied by starters. We went for cheese and ham and for me, a gastronomic discovery, the bread with raisins to accompany the savory. Delicious.

Neste Museu, cuja arquitetura futurística, tem um impacto à primeira vista vão poder fazer uma visita à evolução do vinho pelos tempos. O que me cativou imenso foi ver a imensa adega com vinhos de TODO mundo.
In this Museum, whose futuristic architecture has an impact at first glance, you will be able to take a tour of the evolution of wine through the ages. What really captivated me was seeing the huge cellar with wines from the WHOLE of the world.
