Día de comida mexicana
Me siento tan extraño escribiendo acá en esta comunidad, por un momento fue la comunidad donde más escribía, pero luego de haber sido bloqueado por un total injusticia (una persona se hizo una cuenta con mis fotos), pensé que nunca más iba a poder postear acá, de hecho mientras escribo esto no sé si realmente se verá o no esta publicación, pero anyway... Igual compartiré mi experiencia.
Siempre amé la comida mexicana, toda la vida, solo que desde que estoy en Argentina, hace casi una década nunca había comido nada mexicano a excepción de unos burritos que le compraba a un mexicana que vendía en la calle y era muy amigable.
No sé si fue porque tenía tanto tiempo sin comer comida mexicana, pero descubrí mi restaurante favorito. Es un local bastante modesto, ubicado en el barrio de San Telmo, pero los precios y el sabor son increíbles, de hecho quiero ir en mi cumpleaños. Además, como si no fuera poco el sabor, la señora que nos atendió era un amor, muy educada y ayudando a elegir cada cosa, se merece la mejor propina de todas.
Para la entrada pedimos unos nachos con todo o nachos especiales, cubiertos con frijoles refritos, guacamole, pico de gallo (tomate, cebolla, cilantro), carne, queso derretido y crema. Sin palabras. decir espectacular es quedarme corto para describir lo grandioso del sabor.
Los platos principales no fueron menos espectacular, aunque mis tacos estaban tan buenos, pero tan buenos... Sin palabras!

Mexican food day
I feel so strange writing here again. For a while, this used to be the community where I posted the most, but after being blocked for something totally unfair (someone made an account using my photos), I thought I’d never be able to post here again. In fact, as I write this, I’m still not sure if this will even get published — but anyway… I’m going to share my experience.
I’ve always loved Mexican food — my whole life. But since I moved to Argentina nearly a decade ago, I hadn’t had any real Mexican food, except for some burritos I used to buy from a super friendly Mexican lady who sold them on the street.
Maybe it’s because I had gone so long without Mexican food, but I think I just found my favorite restaurant. It’s a pretty modest little place, located in the San Telmo neighborhood, but the prices and the flavor? Incredible. I actually want to go there for my birthday. And if the food wasn’t enough, the lady who served us was the sweetest — super polite and helpful, guiding us through the menu. She totally deserved the biggest tip ever.
For starters, we ordered loaded nachos — or as they call them, “special nachos” — covered in refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo (tomato, onion, cilantro), meat, melted cheese, and sour cream. I mean… I’m speechless. Saying “amazing” doesn’t even come close to how good it was.
The main dishes were just as spectacular. I had tacos and they were so, so good... I honestly have no words.
