Children's birthdays are a real joy and of course, we always try to please our little ones to make it fantastic! My daughter ordered Cake Pops and her wish came true. Cake Pops are very interesting for children and it seems to me that they love them more than a birthday cake. :) Since Mila's favorite color is pink, I made white and pink balls with a lot of white chocolate. The full taste of white chocolate dominates, the recipe is simple, the taste is fantastic, they are very decorative and children adore them! There are many easy ways to make them, and this one is mine :) Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 50 ml of milk
- 1 vanilla pudding
- 250 ml of sweet-sour cream
- 2 vanilla sugar
- 100 g of white chocolate
- 150 g ground biscuits
For the glaze: - 200 g of white chocolate - 2 tablespoons oil - colorful crumbs and decorations
Mix milk and pudding, but no lumps. Add vanilla sugar to the sweet cream and cook. When it warms but does not boil, add the mixture of milk and pudding and stir until it thickens. Stop cooking and add the white chocolate cubes to melt in the warm mixture. I love this part the most :) Then add the ground biscuits. Mix everything well and leave the mixture in the fridge for about half an hour.
After about half an hour, take the mixture out of the fridge and form balls. From this mixture you can get from 20 to 25 balls, depending on the size. Mine turned out to be a little bigger, so logically I had exactly 20 balls: D Put the balls back in the fridge for at least half an hour.
Melt white chocolate with oil. Dip the end of the stick into the white chocolate before stabbing it into the ball. This is done to make the balls stand stronger on the stick.
After that, the balls are ready to dive into the melted white chocolate. Sprinkle decorative crumbs over it, and stick the cake pops in styrofoam or a box, they just need to stand upright until the chocolate hardens. When I dipped half of the balls into the white chocolate, I added a few drops of red cake color to get the pink color - a favorite for girls!🤗
When the cake pops are ready, put them back in the fridge and after an hour they are just as they should be - perfect :)
Mila is a girl who loves to cook with me and play with ingredients, so it was this time as well. She is my great helper and I really enjoy watching her with how much seriousness and sympathy she approaches the preparation of food, even though she is only four years old. Making cake pops was very fun, interesting, and the children's gratitude and joy we get in return is priceless, :)
Much love, Snežana
