Naguanagua's Plaza Bolívar is a corner of the city that reminds me of the plazas in the Andes, where you can hear the silence, the wind, and the calm.
The climate in Naguanagua is very fresh, as it's located very close to the mountains, just like in the Venezuelan Andes.
When I lived there, I used to walk around the plaza a lot. Almost every time I passed by, I would stop to admire its large trees and the shadows they cast, which protect passersby from the strong sun.
La plaza Bolívar de Naguanagua es un rincón de la ciudad que me recuerda a las plazas andinas, donde se puede escuchar el silencio, el viento y la calma.
El clima de Naguanagua es muy fresco, ya que se encuentra muy cerca de las montañas, al igual que en los Andes venezolanos.
Cuando vivía allí, solía caminar mucho por los alrededores de la plaza. Casi siempre que pasaba, me detenía a contemplar sus grandes árboles y las sombras que proyectaban, las cuales protegen a los transeúntes de los fuertes rayos del sol.
However, I find it a somewhat difficult place to photograph because, being small, everything is too close. Therefore, there are elements that, to me, are unnecessary in the compositions.
For this reason, some of these photos look a bit similar to each other. It's also possible that I wasn't in the best mood for photography at the time, and that "tourist's eye" was lost.
Is everything photographable? Yes and no.
It depends on the moment, on the person taking the photo, on their mood, and on how all of these things complement the place.
Naguanagua is a place I remember with great fondness, and even so, I don't feel that the photos turned out to be all that interesting.
Sin embargo, me parece un lugar algo difícil de fotografiar porque, al ser pequeño, todo está muy cerca. Por lo tanto, hay elementos que, para mí, sobran en las composiciones.
Por esta razón, algunas de estas fotos se parecen un poco entre sí. También es posible que en ese momento no estuviera de muy buen ánimo para fotografiar, y ese ojo de turista se perdió un poco.
¿Todo es fotografiable? Sí y no.
Depende del momento, de la persona que fotografía, de su estado de ánimo y de cómo todo esto se complementa con el lugar.
Naguanagua es un lugar que recuerdo con mucho cariño, y a pesar de ello, no siento que las fotografías hayan quedado del todo interesantes.
