# Bienvenidos a mi domingo musical, el domingo pasado hice memorias del año 1971 y hoy me fui al año 1991 porque justo hoy esa canción de mi domingo musical como lo es Smells Like Teen Spirit, está cumpliendo 34 años, nada más y nada menos, y les puedo asegurar que todas las canciones de ese grupo como lo es Nirvana me gustan, llegue a tener todos los cd. Yo viví y me disfruté ese impacto en tiempo real. In Utero, Bleach, MTV Unplugged in New York, definitivamente cada uno tenía su propio estilo musical y por supuesto algo que nadie puede ocultar era su propio peso emocional, que transmitían sus canciones, pero Smells Like Teen Spirit fue el disparo inicial, el grito de una juventud que no quería ser etiquetada y quedo marcada. Smells Like Teen Spirit fue la canción que catapultó a Nirvana al estrellato, debo aclarar que eso es lo que yo considero, además de que también marcó el inicio del auge del grunge y el declive del glam rock. MTV la puso a sonar y sonar constante, y su videoclip con estudiantes enloquecidos en un gimnasio, eso, marco la diferencia se volvió icónico, porque para ese momento ese video y esa canción es como decir hoy en día, era inclusión de un grupo que no eran bien vistos. Y es que ese grupo de jóvenes que no eran bien vistos, eran como dicen mis hijas, los raros, los silenciosos, los que no encajaban en los moldes de los populares, Nirvana se convirtió en una voz que nos representaba y aunque Kurt Cobain nunca quiso ser portavoz de nadie, lo fue sin proponérselo. Hoy, 34 años después, sigo escuchando esa canción como si fuera la primera vez.
