Stakehouse Den is live and we're now here to enjoy the rewards aside from having fun playing it. Have you ever wondered what makes Stakehouse Den tick behind the scenes? One of its most intriguing mechanics is something cheekily dubbed Hot Sauce—a clever, fun way to reward players for staking their gameplay assets.
In simple terms, Hot Sauce is generated when you stake both cards and Script. No matter the card's level, rarity, or whether it's regular or gold foil, you'll always need to stake 2 Script per card to kickstart the Hot Sauce flow.
From there, how much you earn depends on three key factors: card level, rarity, and whether the card has a regular or gold foil. Essentially, higher‑level cards, rarer cards, and gold foil versions all crank up your Hot Sauce yield. The whitepaper even offers a detailed generation formula:
Hot Sauce Generated = Merge Count × Generation Factor for the Card

As a quick peek at the numbers: for regular foil cards at level 1, you’re looking at a meager 1 unit for a common card—but bump that to a legendary, and you multiply the reward. Fast forward a few levels, and you're generating much more: level 5 legendary cards can yield up to 270 Hot Sauce per day/ Gold foil offers an even juicier deal: at the same level, gold foil legendary cards can earn up to 300 per day.
All told, Hot Sauce adds an engaging layer to play: you’re not just staking—you're strategizing. Tack on a bold rarity card or shine with gold foil, and you’re cooking with extra heat.
