Unplanned Escape to West Town Lagoon with Friends

Hello Hivers! It's me again, Jean. For today's blog I'm gonna share with you our unplanned overnight with my friends at West Town Lagoon located at Tipolo, Mandaue City. So without further ado, let's get started.

One of our friends made a group chat (gc) for us. She first chatted and asked who among us is available for an overnight. And that was perfect timing since most of us are available that day.  So we decided to go to West Town Lagoon for an overnight, we booked a room good for 10 people that cost almost 3,000pesos, that already includes our breakfast and entrance fee. You are not allowed to bring any alcoholic drinks unless you pay corkage. The rooms are very net, spacious and have a very good ambiance and are perfect for friends like us who'll stay overnight.

Their staff is very accommodating, and I was amazed by their pool where there are different designs that makes it more enjoyable. There are slides, castles, jacuzzi and benches where you can just sit beside the pool and enjoy the view.

When we arrived at our room, each of us brought a contribution to the food. We shared our foods with full of laughter, and after eating, we take pictures and decide to go to the pool and swim.

We went swimming until it was already night time. It was the weekend when we got there so there were a lot of people as well  who went there to have swimming. We didn't know they were having a pool party that made me and my friends extremely happy because it was our first time experiencing a pool party. It was around 10 pm when the party ended, and we decided to go back to our room because we were already feeling cold.

After taking a shower and change our clothes, we ate again and went to MO2, which is right next to West Town, to buy their famous drink, the fountain. Bringing alcohol from outside was not allowed because you had to buy it from MO2 itself.

When everyone was feeling a bit tipsy, we decided to play truth or dare. One of the most memorable experiences for me was our overnight stay at West Town because it felt like we were escaping from the confines of my friends' place. The laughter, storytelling, and teasing never stopped that night, and when we were all content, we decided to sleep.

The next morning, we woke up early and decided to swim before our breakfast was served. We enjoyed our remaining time by taking pictures, playing, swimming and planned for our next get together. It was around 10 am when our breakfast was being served. After swimming, showering, and changing, we cleaned up the room in preparation for check out. We almost had to pay an extra fee because one towel went missing, but luckily, we found it left on a bench beside the pool. When we finally checked out, some of us went to Jollibee because we weren't fully satisfied with the breakfast provided.

And we said our goodbyes to each other before heading home. That experience with them is something I won't forget, and for friends planning an overnight stay and swimming, I highly recommend West Town Lagoon. Their staff is very accommodating, the ambiance of the place is beautiful, and I can assure you that your payment will be worth it.
