After a two-week break, we're back—and wow, a lot has happened in Thorchain land. The long-awaited integration of XRP is live, and it's a game-changer: Thorchain is now the only way to swap XRP natively into BTC, ETH, or other major assets without wrapping or relying on a third-party bridge. That alone should be enough to send RUNE soaring.
On top of that, the App Layer is now officially rolling out on Ruji, opening the door for smoother UX and more adoption. And yes, volume is picking up steadily—on-chain activity shows real usage.
So… why is the RUNE price still stuck in the mud? We’re back at $1.55, even dipping close to $1.40 earlier in the week. The chart shows a sharp drop followed by a modest recovery, but overall, it’s not reflecting the protocol’s momentum. Uff.
Could it be a delay in market recognition? General market weakness? Or just the calm before a major move?
