Hello, how are you? Happy Friday! The weather is cold today, and it is the perfect time to draw for my entry for this week. But I guess it is too cold for me to use the big electric fan LOL. I feel like I am on vacation in Baguio. I guess another tropical cyclone is coming to the country again.
Even though I am fighting for my life, not to just lie in bed for the whole day, just scroll through social media, I just inspired myself to just waste it finishing my entry. And I recently observed that I am more motivated to draw when I listen to some of the podcasts on YouTube. I just like listening to something. Whenever I get a break from digital drawing, it is like when I decided to come back again, it is me drawing like a newbie again LOL. Mind you, it's just been days or a week.
By the way, for my entry for this week, I drew Naga Warrior. I like her hair color and the confidence she is giving me. It has been a week since I drew something, so I am pretty excited to draw again.

The Process:
For the line art, I go for the simple one, because she has a half-snake body. I just added it as her background to make it seem that she has a snake body. I used marker detail for the line art. ----- The next process was adding the base color. I used the shape fill tool brush for this part, and to make the base color cleaner, I adjusted the stabilization of the brush, because whenever I open the app, the stabilization will return to the default one. And filling the canvas with light gray makes it easier to add the base color. ----- For the next part of the process, I still use the shape fill tool brush to add the shadows and highlights, which I usually do. Doing this makes it easier to render later. ----- For the next part of the process, I start to blend the shadows and highlights I added earlier. What I do is I use this filter, Gaussian Blur, to blend the harsh outline of the shadows and highlights. And I like adding texture to the canvas too, it is a ritual for me to do. It is like embedded in my head to do that LOL. ----- Because I am not dependent on the line art so I just turn it down to 20% opacity. In this part, I will see which parts need to be fixed and some of the imperfections in them. It looks like it is rendering right, but just trust the process. And I added the background design, it is not done this time, but I have an idea what I am going to do with it. ----- For this part, the character is cleaner and more well-rendered now. For this part of the process, I added more details to the character, and I made the shadows and highlights more intense and more blended. ----- For the final process, I added more intense shadows and highlights, and then I decided to darken the background color, and then I added more details to the character too. And because her power is water, I decided to add it as her background design, and I decided to add it in front of her. ---- [Orignal Character](https://splintercards.com/beta_core_naga-warrior) ----Thank you for visiting.
