**CAMBIO DE ACEITE DE MI MATIZ 2001**  Saludos amigos de esta comunidad @hivemotors hoy les comparto mi vivencia con mi vehículo, un Matiz 2001, estuvo alrededor de 3 o 4 años parado y he ido corrigiendo detalles que presentaba, en próximos post se los iré mostrando poco a poco, luego de echar andar el motor después de tanto tiempo lo primero que hice fue cambiar el aceite y el filtro. Busque ofertas en varios establecimientos, pero me ofrecían aceites que venían de países asiáticos y un mecánico me indico que no utilizara esos aceites ya que no estaban acorde a las condiciones que viven nuestros vehículos aquí, según existen componentes que no tienen la formula adecuada, me recomendó marcas tradicionales. **OIL CHANGE FOR MY 2001 MATIZ** >Greetings, friends of this community @hivemotors. Today I want to share my experience with my vehicle, a 2001 Matiz. It had been sitting for about 3 or 4 years, and I've been fixing some issues with it. After starting the engine for the first time in so long, the first thing I did was change the oil and filter. >I looked for deals at several establishments, but they offered me oils that came from Asian countries, and a mechanic told me not to use those oils because they were not suitable for the conditions our vehicles experience here. According to him, there are components that do not have the right formula, so he recommended traditional brands.   Y como era de esperar los precios estaban un poco altos en estos productos, me decidí por la marca Slyng x-trim fabricado en Venezuela es un aceite 20w-50 API SL es un lubricante con tecnología anti desgaste y contiene 946 cm³ su mayor característica es que evita la formación de herrumbre, depósitos y sedimentos, alargando la vida del motor. Es un lubricante de alto desempeño y es una forma de proteger la inversión que estoy realizando, tiene 5 años de durabilidad en su envase desde la fecha de su fabricación. La promoción era por la compra de 4 aceites regalaban el filtro. >As expected, the prices for these products were a little high, so I decided on the Slyng x-trim brand, manufactured in Venezuela. Ya realizada la compra procedí a realizar el cambio, saque el tapón de abajo y salió el aceite viejo, y deje escurrir un par de horas, luego vertí un poquito de aceite nuevo para que se llevara los restos del viejo. Procedí a sacar el filtro perforándolo con un destornillador, ya que no poseo la herramienta adecuada para sacarlo, luego coloque el tapón de abajo y el filtro nuevo, llene con el aceite nuevo. Este vehículo utiliza tres litros y un cuartico de litro más. >Once I had made the purchase, I proceeded to change the oil. I removed the plug at the bottom and drained the old oil, leaving it to drain for a couple of hours. I then poured in a little new oil to wash away the remains of the old oil. I proceeded to remove the filter by piercing it with a screwdriver, as I don't have the right tool to remove it. Then I put the bottom plug and the new filter in place and filled it with new oil. This vehicle uses three liters and a quarter of a liter more.
