El conto una anécdota en una entrevista para la televisión, no recuerdo el programa, en ella dijo que su canción fue tan popular en aquel tiempo, que dando un concierto en Francia, se secó el sudor con un pañuelo y lo coloco en su bolsillo y quedo expuesta la mitad del mismo fuera de su bolsillo y así canto su éxito y las personas de aquel país lo agarraron como moda, cargar el pañuelo a medio bolsillo, por así llamarlo. Su nombre completo era Henry Augustus Sthefen Pierre, nació el 15 de julio de 1941 en Cabimas, Estado Zulia-Venezuela y murió el 5 de abril del 2021 en Caracas-Venezuela, a los 79 años de edad, debido al COVID-19.
