If we think about it, Hohenheim is the cornerstone of the series. He was the creator of the antagonist by providing his blood. He was the one who devised a plan to stop Father, although Ed was the one who delivered the final blow. Basically, if we remove this character, the whole of FMA falls apart.

Honestly, I love that it's like that. Van Hohenheim is my favorite character in the whole series. I love how well-constructed and developed he is. At first, he's portrayed as a gloomy, bad father, but in the end, he turns out to be the complete opposite. You have to be a true artist to do something like that. Congratulations to Hiromu Arakawa.

To conclude this blog, I would like to highlight what I consider to be Hohenheim's finest moments. Starting with when he revealed the plan he had been devising for years against Father. He explained that he abandoned his family in order to strategically scatter his philosopher's stone throughout Amestris. His goal was to form a circle of transmutation that would counteract Father's plan. At that precise moment, we could all empathize and understand why he did what he did. It was a beautiful form of redemption.
Para terminar el blog quisiera destacar los que para mí, son los mejores momentos de Hohenheim. Empezando por cuando reveló el plan que venía trazando durante años contra Father. Donde se explica que abandonó a su familia para esparcir estratégicamente su piedra filosofal por todo Amestris. Con el objetivo de formar un círculo de transmutación que contrarrestara el plan de Father. En ese preciso momento todos pudimos empatizar y entender por qué hizo lo que hizo. Fue una manera preciosa de redención.

Por último y lo que no puede faltar es el momento donde visita la tumba de Trisha. Luego de derrotar al homúnculo del frasco y terminar el combate. Creo que el 99,99 % de las personas que vimos esta escena nos emocionamos como mínimo. Ver a Hohenheim despidiéndose de su esposa mientras su cuerpo se descompone, rompe hasta la persona más fuerte. Sobre todo cuando Pinako lo encuentra al otro día muerto enfrente de la lápida con una sonrisa. Si ahí no te conmoviste, no tienes corazón.
