Por un lado, teníamos a un Haaland que venía de ganar el triplete con el Manchester City. Champions League, Premiere League y FA Cup. Habiendo roto el récord de goles en una temporada de liga inglesa. Sumado a que en 53 partidos, hizo 52 goles. Por otro lado a Messi, que fuera del mundial, solo ganó la liga francesa con PSG. Que vale aclarar que no es una liga muy competitiva que digamos. En conclusión, me parece bien que Messi haya ganado el premio al mejor jugador del mundial 2022, pero un mundial no debería ser suficiente para opacar un año mediocre.
