My Response to this Week’s Contest: How Do You Want to Be Remembered?
Our time on this earth is limited. No matter who we are or what we achieve, the moment will eventually come when we must take our final bow. But long after we are gone, what truly remains is the legacy we leave behind. The memores, the stories, and the impact we’ve made in the lives of others is what will be held of you.
When I ponder on this question, I realized that I don’t wish to be remembered for wealth,, status, or grand achievements. Instead, I want to be remembered for the way I touched lives. I want people to remember how I was able to bless souls around me, even if it wasn’t something big or loud, my kindness and words of encouragement.
When I'm not here on earth , i would want people to testify about me that i made their lives a little better, inspired them, gave them hope when they needed it most. I want my memory to be one of service, empathy, and a sincere desire to bless humanity in diverse ways because in the end, it is not how long we lived that matters, but how well we lived.
I believe a well fulfilled life is one that has achieved its purpose. I also want to be remembered for fulfilling my purpose here on earth while impacting the lives around me.I know it’s not possible to be loved by everyone, but I believe in living at peace with all. I want the few people I meet in life to experience my love and feel my impact.
As we go through our daily activities in life, we should always be mindful of how we treat people, because one day, all that will be left are memories either good or bad.
