Poverty is a major obstacle to living a comfortable and fulfilling life. It deprives people of the most basic necessities, such as food, shelter, and clothing, leaving them to struggle daily for survival. Without these essentials, life becomes miserable and unbearable. How can someone who lives under a bridge, barely finding anything to eat, ever have the strength or opportunity to pursue their dreams? It is heartbreaking to imagine the hopelessness that comes with such a situation.
One of the major causes of poverty in many countries is bad governance. When greedy leaders loot public funds and enrich themselves at the expense of the masses. As a result of their greed, children go to bed hungry, families lack clean water, and young people are denied access to quality education. Such conditions create a vicious cycle of suffering that is difficult to escape.
If only poverty could be eradicated for good, the world would be a better place. Every person would have the chance to live with dignity, to pursue their goals, and to contribute positively to their communities.
