The elegant entrance to the Lanzerac Hotel

Had to drop my mother off in Somerset West on Sunday so decided to take her for a treat for a lunch or brunch at the Deli at the Lanzerac Hotel

I had been there before with my girlfriend and was very impressed with the food and the atmosphere and wanted to show this to my mother.

Needless to say, we were not disappointed. The weather had changed from a nice sunny morning to an overcast and rainy day.

We were shown to a lovely table near a fireplace and that definitely added to the atmosphere.
