Hoy primero de septiembre deseos que tengan un mes maravilloso, lleno de salud, alegrías, prosperidad, abundancia y nuevos proyectos por realizar de la mejor manera. El día de hoy vengo por acá a mostrarles un bonito vestido que le estuve haciendo a mi princesa Ámbar. Esta tela la escogió ella misma, por ahí ya se las había mostrado en otro proyecto. Con esta tela le hice un vestido a su abuela María. Como les digo ella escogió la tela para ese momento, estaba comprando la tela para el vestido de la abuela, yo había escogido otro modelo, pero ella se antojó de ese y le dije, hija vamos a agarrar uno que sirva para las dos, tu abuela es una señora mayor y tú eres una niña, pero quería que le sirviera para las dos y luego así tomarles unas fotos juntas con mis creaciones.    
Bueno, ella me dice:"Mamá, mami, esta combina para las dos, porque es muy bonito, el color es de hembra, tiene unos muñequitos se minie que sirven para mí y tiene unas flores que sirven para mi abuela". Con todos estos argumentos no me quedó más que aceptar comprar esta tela. Además, es muy suave y fresca, además de ligera y fácil de coser. Hace días fue el cumpleaños de mi princesa Arianna, para el que también le estuve realizando un bonito vestido que luego les estaré mostrando. Así que también le hice uno para mi princesa Ámbar y así las dos estarían estrenando unos lindos proyectos hechos por mamá. Para este vestido lo que utilicé fue el patrón de la blusa básica, de ahí estuve haciendo algunos ajustes para hacer el vestido, la verdad que no me dediqué mucho a hacer más patrones porque estaba haciéndolo bastante rápido y como ya había hecho el de Arianna más o menos tenía una idea de cómo hacer este.    
Así que corte todas las piezas, la parte de arriba, la de la falda y también las vistas o la parte del forro de adelante, que ya me quedaba poca tela, por cierto, e hice lo que pude. También le hice las tiras, estas tiras me quedaron muy bien, ya tengo las medidas para próximos proyectos y las volteé bastante fácil. Así que ya era momento de empezar a pasar costura, primero hice toda la parte de adelante y luego la de atrás a la que les puse elástico. Y como nunca faltan los inconvenientes, cuando le medí el vestido, le quedó supergrande en la parte de atrás. Así que tuve que descoser, cortar y volver a coser. Ya era la madrugada a pocas horas del cumpleaños de Arianna, así que ya luego no tome más fotos sino cuando llegamos a la playa y mi princesa Ámbar la pueden ver luciendo su lindo vestido. Les cuento que ella no es amante de los vestidos. Cuando se lo estaba haciendo bien, se lo midió y todo, por ahí la pueden ver en una foto en el espejo. Pero en la mañana, cuando le dije que le iba a poner el vestido, no quería para nada, cosa que me desilusiona mucho porque, a pesar de los esfuerzos para yo hacerle las cosas y que siempre se vean lindas ella se pone un poco difícil cuando de vestido se trata y de pantalones también.   
Al final gracias a Dios se lo dejó puesto de tanto insistirle y miren qué bonito le quedó, ojalá que para la próxima se lo ponga con más ganas. Me encantan tanto los vestidos para las niñas, pero como ven a ella no le gusta mucho. Sin embargo, quedé muy contenta con este proyecto y espero estar haciéndole otras prendas, esta vez que ella sí diga cómo las quiere y así se los ponga con mucho más gusto y alegría. Bueno, amigos, esto ha sido todo por hoy. Espero que les guste este proyecto y como les dije en un principio que todo le salga bien, que todo esté bonito y disfruten del comienzo de este último cuatrimestre del año. Today I am here to show you a beautiful dress that I was making for my princess Amber. She chose this fabric herself; I may have already shown it to you in another project. I used this fabric to make a dress for her grandmother Maria. As I said, she chose the fabric at that moment. I was buying fabric for her grandmother's dress, and I had chosen another pattern, but she wanted that one, so I said, "Honey, let's get one that works for both of you. Your grandmother is an older woman, and you are a little girl, but I wanted it to work for both of you so we could take pictures together with my creations."    
Well, she said to me, "Mom, Mommy, this one works for both of us because it's very pretty, the color is feminine, it has little Minnie Mouse characters that work for me, and it has flowers that work for my grandmother." With all these arguments, I had no choice but to agree to buy this fabric. Besides, it's very soft and cool, as well as light and easy to sew. A few days ago was my princess Arianna's birthday, for which I was also making her a pretty dress that I'll show you later. So I also made one for my princess Amber, and that way they would both be wearing beautiful projects made by mommy. For this dress, I used the basic blouse pattern, and then I made some adjustments to make the dress. To be honest, I didn't spend much time making more patterns because I was doing it quite quickly and, as I had already made Arianna's, I had a rough idea of how to make this one.    
So I cut out all the pieces, the top, the skirt, and also the facings or the front lining, which, by the way, I didn't have much fabric left for, but I did what I could. I also made the straps, which turned out really well. I already have the measurements for future projects, and they were pretty easy to make. So it was time to start sewing. First, I did the whole front and then the back, to which I added elastic. And, as there are always hiccups, when I measured the dress, it was too big in the back. So I had to unpick, cut, and sew again. It was already early morning, just a few hours before Arianna's birthday, so I didn't take any more photos until we got to the beach, where you can see my princess Amber wearing her pretty dress. I should mention that she's not a fan of dresses. When I was making it, she tried it on and everything. You can see her in a photo in the mirror. But in the morning, when I told her I was going to put the dress on her, she didn't want to at all, which disappoints me a lot because, despite my efforts to make things for her that always look cute, she gets a little difficult when it comes to dresses and pants too.   
In the end, thank God, she kept it on after I insisted so much, and look how pretty it looked on her. Hopefully, next time she'll be more willing to wear it. I love dresses for girls so much, but as you can see, she doesn't like them very much. However, I was very happy with this project and I hope to make her other clothes, this time letting her choose how she wants them so she'll wear them with much more enthusiasm and joy.
