Mater Dolorosa - Baroque Art by @leidyg-art

Greetings to this great Alien Art Hive community, this its my second post in this awesome artistic community. I present you my 2025 second art piece, and its called: Scorpion Purple Art, I used a black pencil and colours for made this art piece, mostly blue and yellow, and some orange too. To this artistic reinterpretation I wanted to give a touch of personal art to my drawing style.

In the publication you can see below the images of the step by step process, this work was made at the request of my proffesor Nahu Padilla @nahupuku for the asignature Plastic Language, this week we had to make the color Baroque Art. I was inspired by this Classical Artpiece: Mater Dolorosa – Bartolomé Esteban Murillo Oil Painting

Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, late December 1617, baptized January 1, 1618 – April 3, 1682) was a Spanish Baroque painter. Although he is best known for his religious works, Murillo also produced a considerable number of paintings of contemporary women and children. These lively realistic portraits of flower girls, street urchins, and beggars constitute an extensive record of the everyday life of his times.
