Birthday Blessings and Merienda Magic

Hello FOH Family! Hello Hive Universe!😍

Today brought a sweet surprise. My neighbor’s grandchild just turned six! I always feel lucky during their family celebrations because my generous neighbor never forgets to share the joy (and the food) with me.

While I was busy working on my online freelance tasks, I heard her calling me from the gate. She handed me plates of pancit and dinuguan (yes, the rich and savory blood stew we Filipinos know and love). The timing was perfect. It was just about time for merienda, and I couldn’t have asked for a better treat.

I got so excited to eat. But of course, I paused to take photos first. I’ve promised to keep you all updated here on Hive, especially as I continue my healing journey after the passing of my father last July. Sharing these small joys helps me stay grounded and grateful, even in the midst of grief.

It’s amazing how something as humble as a plate of pancit plus a bowl of dinuguan can lift the spirit. It reminded me that kindness still flows freely in this world, often from the people closest to us.

To my dear readers, thank you so much for always taking the time to read my posts. Your presence here means more than you know. Until the next story—stay kind, stay full, and stay connected.
