Greetings, Hive Family! Hello, Eating Out Community!
Last weekend, my boyfriend and I hopped on his motorcycle with one mission in mind: to conquer a viral eat-all-you-can lechon kitchenette in Plaridel, Bulacan. The buzz online had us drooling in advance; crispy skin, juicy pork, unlimited servings? Count us in!
But as fate would have it, we arrived only to be greeted with a plot twist: the eat-all-you-can offer wasn’t available that day. The staff kindly informed us it would resume the following morning. Turns out, their buffet isn’t a daily affair, something we wish we’d known before racing up our appetite!
While they did offer their specialty lechon in single or group servings, our hearts were set on the buffet experience. So, we politely bowed out and left, still hungry, but now on a mission.

Determined not to let our cravings go to waste, we turned to Google and searched for nearby lechon buffets. Plaridel had slim pickings, so we expanded our hunt to the next town: Guiguinto. That’s where we discovered Mang-kok Buffet, a promising spot that ticked all the boxes.
We rode straight there, and before stepping inside, I made sure to snap some photos of the place, because every foodie adventure deserves documentation!

Mang-kok Buffet didn’t disappoint. They offered flexible options. You could go full-on buffet or stick to single servings. Their menu was pork-centric: lechon, of course, plus other pork viands that added variety to the feast.
We chose lechon, bottled water, and soft drinks. And yes, I took photos before we dug in. The food was flavorful. The lechon had that satisfying crunch, and the staff were warm and welcoming, a big plus in any dining experience.

Thanks for Joining Our Lechon Adventure!
What started as a simple food trip turned into a mini road adventure filled with surprises, laughter, and crispy pork goodness. If you’re planning to visit a buffet spot, always check ahead; and if one door closes, another pork-filled one might just open nearby!
Thanks for reading and riding along with us!
