Greeting my Friends!

Winter is not leaving us just yet and we really have enough, yet we are making the best of it! Sunday wasn't too cold, only -2C, which was perfect to go for walk. We stared at the conservation area, but I will post those photos next week. Today I am sharing with you the beauty of frozen art on the beach of JACK DARLING MEMORIAL PARK.

Well I have taken this photo last, but I decided to posted first because it's my favorite. The second photo was one of the first I took, before the sky got colorful.

We all know that nature is the best artist and this is just another prove of that. This abstract ice sculpture is quite fascinating. To bad it cannot be preserved in a museum. Well, at least I have photo of it!

This one I call Ice Q-tip, lol.

Here is a connection between RATTRAY MARSH CONSERVATION AREA and the lake. Basically, that's where we walked from all the way to the beach. I absolutely love this place and we have been here many times.

Another icy beauty, full of icicles. I am always fascinated by these frozen jewels.

One lonely goose, swam by checking us out, probably looking for food. The sky was turning colors, as the sun was setting down on the other side.

More icy jewels up close.

My grandsons were having fun pretending that this is their frosty kingdom. Climbing is always their favoring thing to do!

Lets go King Nicholas, it is time to go home. He decided that this is his throne. Only in CANADA, LOL.
