Hey everyone! 2024 was a massive year for INLEO. So massive, in fact, that it took me a week to pull all the references for this blog post to talk about everything we've achieved in 2024.
Our ecosystem has expanded over 10x in terms of users. We've also introduced literally hundreds of new features for the Hive blockchain. If that wasn't enough, we also introduced LeoDex - an entirely new app and backend infrastructure that enables LEO and HIVE (and Hive-based assets) to be traded natively with L1 assets on the Maya Protocol.
Our partnerships in the 2nd half of 2024 defined the growth of INLEO and exponentialized all the uptrends we were already seeing. We now have new record highs for Threads, Posts, Comments, Monthly Active Users and many other leading KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics we track.
This post will focus on the milestones, achievements and announcements of INLEO throughout 2024. A subsequent post will dive into the Data of how we performed on our leading KPIs - the juiciest metric of all being all the new Hive Monthly Active Users that we successfully brought to this blockchain through the countless initiatives and partnerships that we launched in 2024.

1). Major Growth & Milestones
Throughout 2024, INLEO set some massive growth targets. Many people thought those targets would be completely impossible to hit.
The most publicly known target is to reach 10,000 Monthly Active Users. Every user of INLEO has a full Hive account and INLEO launched a DHF proposal 18 months ago with the mission of adding 10k MAUs to this blockchain over the course of that time.
As of December 31st, 2024, we hit that milestone (and then some). Our final totals at the end of the year were 13,417 Monthly Active Users.
as mentioned above, we will have a much lengthier deep dive on monthly active users, onboarded accounts, etc. in a data post after this one.
Succeeding in our promise with the DHF was our #1 priority for our ecosystem in 2024. We wanted to ensure that we lived up to the massive promises that we made.
As INLEO has proven time and time again with our technology, community and ecosystem: we overpromise and overdeliver. Our capacity as a team to overdeliver and drive real change to the Hive blockchain can be seen in so many ways: including the introduction of Microblogging on Hive - which every UI has since adopted our invention of the technology (Container Posts).
INLEO also had record-breaking sign ups in 2024. We became the #1 interface, community and project on Hive in terms of onboarding. By December of '24, we are now onboarding more accounts each month than every other project on Hive combined. That is not to say it in a competitive way, but to give contextual scale to just how profound the growth of INLEO has become.
In addition to onboarding metrics skyrocketing beyond belief, the user activity metrics on INLEO have also risen dramatically. Thread counts are at an all-time high in December.
They were growing every single month, up and to the right during 2024. Then in December - after our recent partnership with Dash, several meme communities and crypto twitter influencers - our Thread count went up 4x in a single month.
Financial metrics on INLEO also blasted through milestones and targets. LeoDex was launched around April/May of 2024. Since then, we've tracked the Trading Volume growth of it as it crossed $10k, then $20k, then $40k in the first month. Then we crossed $500k in October of 2024.
Now, LeoDex is a top 3 Maya Protocol Trading UI. How Does it Help Hive? - this question is answered in a HUGE way... LeoDex is a top 3 trading UI on Maya and it puts Hive front and center.
Hive is not available for trading on many DEXes (if at all). LeoDex brings HIVE, HBD and Hive L2 assets (right now HE and when VSC is fully live, VSC too) to the world of L1 Cross-Chain Trading. We've built Hive Aggregation Technology as a means to permissionlessly trade native HIVE/HBD/Hive L2 assets with anything listed on Maya Protocol.
In Q1 & Q2 of 2025, we'll also be adding the ability to trade HIVE/HBD/Hive L2's with anything listed on Thorchain and ChainFlip. Massive partnership announcements are underway and will be talked about next week.
We're expanding our ecosystem in a way that nobody has seen before. We did it in 2024 and we will do it EVEN BIGGER in 2025.
Using LeoDex as the backend, we also managed to achieve another major milestone: cross-chain payments and cross-chain earnings.

2). Game-Changing Partnerships
Now you can pay in anything and earn in anything on https://inleo.io. The dream of cross-chain social media is now a reality and guess what... we put Hive at the center of it: 1. All social media data lives on Hive 2. All payments have to go through Hive and are settled in HBD 3. All onboarded accounts have a Hive username and private keys
The invention of this technology has led to the massive surge in onboarding that we saw in Q4 of 2024. This technology is the result of Khal meeting Joel in Croatia in September.
After meeting Joel, we set out to build the technology that would make cross-chain payments and earnings a reality. Now INLEO can partner with any crypto in the industry and onboard their entire community and platform to the Hive ecosystem.
It's a matter of plugging and playing with the technology we built for the Dash integration. Now, you can pay in BTC, earn in BTC. Or pay in RUNE, earn in RUNE.
An incredible expansion into partnerships with other crypto ecosystems is underway. Keep your eyes peeled for content about this next week.
INLEO x DASH
INLEO's integration of DASH has been incredibly fruitful. We've onboarded thousands of accounts directly because of this integration.
The news of the integration itself (the original X Post announcing it) got over 1 Million Views on X and led to nearly 50,000 Link Clicks to sign up to INLEO - which of course, means sign up to Hive.
Dash and Hive share a lot of history. Dash is one of the oldest cryptos in the industry and has been fighting to grow during the turbulent cycles of crypto. The Dash team is incredibly powerful and their community love the project and ecosystem around DASH.
Hive has many similar qualities and this made it easy for INLEO to step up and innovate a solution for Dash users to "Join INLEO and Earn DASH".
In addition to being able to Earn Dash, we also added the ability for Dashers to spend DASH on INLEO for Premium and Creator Subscriptions. This marks a major turning point in the robustness of the INLEO, Hive and Dash Economies.
To make a great economy, you need users to be able to both earn and spend the currencies in the economy. INLEO has made this possible using LeoDex as the backend.
As many of our users have noted: it's truly incredible to see the green lights that have aligned to make all of 2024 possible. When you look at some of the things we've done - namely, this Dash partnership - it makes you think about how crazy it is that all of the right puzzle pieces had to fit to make this possible.
Without LeoDex and LEO's listing on Maya, the integration wouldn't be possible.
Without Threads, the integration wouldn't be successful.
Without the invention of Keystore signups, the integration wouldn't be possible.
Without the invention of the Referral program, the integration wouldn't have gone viral.
So on and so forth... you see how all the right things aligned to make this integration successful and how INLEO was truly the only project capable of doing it. We had the right technology in the right place at the right time. Major shoutout to @starkerz for introducing Khal and Joel. When he did that, he brought two people together who wanted to make a massive impact on both the Dash and Hive ecosystems and I don't think any other pair is capable of making that happen.
The Dash partnership has opened up a ton of doors for INLEO. We're in talks with Arbitrum Foundation, Thorchain, Thorchain UIs, Maya Team, Maya UIs, ChainFlip Team and many others.
Now that we have Dash as the reference point, we can use the "Join INLEO, Earn DASH" campaign as a template for every other ecosystem. Think of campaigns like: - Join INLEO, Earn ARB - Join INLEO, Earn FLIP - Join INLEO, Earn CACAO - Join INLEO, Earn RUNE - and many many more
With each integration, their userbase can earn in their preferred crypto while also being able to buy INLEO Products & Services (like INLEO Premium, Creator Subscriptions and LeoAds) using their preferred crypto.
It's a perfectly rounded economy and it all lives on the Hive blockchain. Cross-chain payments and earnings are now a reality for Hive.

INLEO x Maya
INLEO and Maya Protocol have had a great history together. Many of the lions in the INLEO community were active on Maya when it launched nearly 2 years ago. They were super active in the early days of Maya and that led to us having an open door with them when it came to getting LEO listed on the Maya Protocol.
To get LEO listed, we needed to be on a compatible blockchain. This meant launching a version of Wrapped LEO on the Arbitrum network.
Once launched there, Maya's Team added LEO to their next round of tokens to list on their Decentralized Exchange.
While they worked on that, the INLEO team decided to plant our roots deep in the Maya Ecosystem by building a Maya-Specific application. We call it https://leodex.io.
LeoDex is a cross-chain trading interface that runs on the Maya Protocol. We wanted to take things 10 steps further so we also built what we call Hive Aggregation Technology (or HAT for short).
HAT allows Hive, HBD and Hive L2 assets to seamlessly and permissionlessly trade with any assets listed on the Maya Protocol.
The way it works is simple: 1. LEO has a liquidity pool on Maya 2. LEO has a liquidity pool on Hive 3. LEO has a bridge that allows you to seamlessly move LEO from the Hive blockchain to Arbitrum's blockchain (and vice versa)
These 3 things mean that you can seamlessly move Hive assets through the LEO Token Economy using our Aggregation technology. This generates value for LEO and since LEO is a Layer 2 token on Hive, it generates value for HIVE.
The more that LEO grows, the more that it contributes to the total economy of HIVE.
I (Khal) called the LEO listing on Maya "the listing to end all listings"... It's the ultimate listing for LEO because it allows us to trade seamlessly not only with anything listed on Maya but also with anything listed on sister projects to Maya: 1. Thorchain 2. ChainFlip
We can aggregate across Thorchain and ChainFlip using Maya + our Aggregation Tech. We'll be deploying an update in Q1/Q2 of 2025 that will enable Thorchain/ChainFlip swaps, earnings and payments through the LEO Token Economy.
This integration made it possible for us to build the earn in anything, pay in anything rails which means it was a critical lead domino to allow us to partner with Dash and now with all of these other ecosystems. These partnerships will set the tone for INLEO in 2025 as we aim to onboard 50,000 Monthly Active Users to the Hive Blockchain.
Memecoin Communities
During the ladder half of 2024, Memecoin crypto communities started to take off. Alongside this was also the growth of TON and various Telegram-based groups within the industry.
As INLEO has always done, we are on top of these trends and look for ways to leverage their cycles to grow our core userbase.
We launched several campaigns to target these users - similar to how we did with Dash and Maya - launching various X Ads campaigns, crypto influencer ad placements, etc.
The growth of these communities drove new signups to INLEO and we managed to retain some of those users as part of our core community. You'll now find more memecoin activity on INLEO than ever before.
While many in the industry ignore trends like this - the latest being AI Agents - INLEO focuses on finding these trends and exploiting them for our monthly active userbase's gain. We find ways to drive the attention to INLEO and that means more Hive Account Signups.

3). Feature Launches & Platform Innovations
INLEO is known for our ability to innovate and build things that have never been built before. We've brought so many amazing things to Hive for the very first time: 1. Microblogging 2. Decentralized Poll Voting 3. L1 Cross-Chain Swaps 4. Hive Lite Accounts 5. Keystore Signups 6. Ad Revenue Buybacks 7. ...and countless more!
INLEO was founded on Hive in 2019. Since then, we have been innovating relentlessly. 2024 was no different. We built a ridiculous amount of new features. We could spend an entire day talking about each feature individually. It's insane.
The best real-time metric is very simple: refresh the INLEO UI every few days and you'll see something new. Whether the backend is getting upgraded, styling is being improved, speed is improved, new features like Bookmarks or Premium or Shorts or Keystore integration or new Wallet Features.... Our pace of innovation and improvement has never been as fast as it is now.
For the sake of time and space, I will not dive into each feature here. We've written about them extensively throughout the year in blog posts. Our typical format for a new feature is "Introducing ....", so if you look for blog posts with that title, you'll find the deep dives.
