Apreciados Hivers,
Hoy es un día muy especial para mí, ya que puedo mostrar ante esta comunidad la ejecución musical de mi hijo, Cristiano, con su instrumento, el cuatro venezolano. Esta es una habilidad que ha venido desarrollando desde hace tres meses y que al día de hoy se está desempeñado como un estudiante de música promedio.
Es como un sueño que se viene gestando, ya que, yo desde muy niño había querido aprender a tocar ese instrumento musical, y siempre me vi limitado a no tener uno en casa. Siempre hubo guitarras, pero nunca cuatro venezolanos. Por lo tanto, me dediqué a aprender a tocar la guitarra y poco a poco me fui olvidando del resto. Ahora, pasado el tiempo, veo a mi hijo intentándolo y siendo cada vez mejor músico me llena de mucha alegría y orgullo.
Es un placer para mí, traerles esta versión de la canción "Flamingo", perteneciente a la banda de rock venezolano "La Vida Boheme". Elaborada con una fusión de folclore y rock, que le dio un toque muy llamativo a esta hermosa pieza musical.
Lo más importante, a mi parecer, fue que al agregar el cuatro no se desvirtuó la magia ni el contenido interno del tema, al contrario, siento que ganó fuerza y se enriqueció, ya que el golpe del cuatro, lo que denominamos comúnmente charrasqueo, logra un toque de percusión dentro de los compases.
Este tipo de actividades en familia ayudan a encontrarnos más, y a su vez formar un lazo más íntimo con nuestros seres queridos. Es otra más de las bondades que nos regala la música.
Esperamos, de todo corazón, que se disfruten esta puesta en escena, hecha con mucho cariño por esta blockchain y sobre todo por la música. De mi parte, y de parte de mi hijo Cristiano, un gran abrazo musical.

Today is a very special day for me, as I can showcase to this community the musical performance of my son, Cristiano, with his instrument, the Venezuelan cuatro.
This is a skill he has been developing for three months and is now performing as an average music student.
It's like a dream coming true, as I had always wanted to learn to play that musical instrument since I was very young, and I was always limited by not having one at home.
There were always guitars, but never Venezuelan cuatros. Therefore, I devoted myself to learning to play the guitar and gradually forgot about the rest. Now, as time has passed, seeing my son trying it and becoming a better musician each day fills me with great joy and pride.
It is my pleasure to bring you this version of the song "Flamingo," belonging to the Venezuelan rock band "La Vida Boheme."
Crafted with a fusion of folklore and rock, which gave a very striking touch to this beautiful musical piece.
The most important thing, in my opinion, was that by adding the cuatro, the magic and internal content of the theme were not distorted, on the contrary, I feel it gained strength and enrichment, as the strumming of the cuatro, commonly known as "charrasqueo," adds a percussion touch within the measures.
These types of family activities help us connect more and, at the same time, form a more intimate bond with our loved ones. It is another one of the blessings that music gives us.
