Our Father who are in heaven, hallowed be Your Name.

A reminder that our daily needs, even our daily bread is ultimately met by God alone. It doesn't matter how much we've saved or stored in our barns. We can lose it all in a blink of an eye. To think that is not possible is absolutely foolish.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
A reminder that we need forgiveness and we also need to forgive others. Forgiving others helps us forgive ourselves and recieve God's grace. Besides, why let others live in our heads rent free? Forgive instead and open the pave for God's wrath and/or grace.
Do not let us into temptations, but deliver us from the evil one.
A reminder that we don't want to be tested, because we understand that we are weak and can break under the right amount of pressure. Therefore, we admit our weaknesses and boast in Christ alone and proclaim that we have nothing to prove.
For power on earth and heavens is Yours forever and ever.
A reminder that God is Sovereign and Omnipotent. The evil one can't touch us without God's permission; so though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. Because You LORD are with me. Your rod and staff will guide and comfort me!
