Hace poco terminé de mezclar la Session Studio 2, un beat de trap urbano creado por mi vecino y pana, Xielo. Este no es cualquier track: su ritmo es agresivo, burlón y potente. Es música que mata a los cínicos. Si te desbocas, te mandamos al clínico. Todo llevado por los químicos: es como competir, pero con energía demoledora, un tema para la calle.
En este behind the scenes les muestro cómo armé todo con recursos caseros: voz grabada en mi home studio, mezcla hecha con compresores, ecualizadores y reverb directo desde mi DAW. La mezcla limpia contrasta con los visuales callejeros del rodaje, donde no hay grandilocuencia, solo la vibra real del barrio.
El proceso fue crudo y auténtico. Usé fragmentos del video largo original donde explico plugins, y los combiné con visualizers, textos animados y tomas de la calle para que el video tenga estructura y no sea solo una charla técnica. Además, extraje 3 reels clave: uno sobre la historia del beat, otro sobre el proceso de mezcla y otro sobre la locación real del video.

I recently finished mixing Session Studio 2, an urban trap beat created by my neighbor and friend, Xielo. This isn't just any track: its rhythm is aggressive, mocking, and powerful. It's music that kills cynics. If you go wild, we'll send you to the clinic. It's all driven by chemicals: it's like competing, but with devastating energy, a song for the streets.
In this behind-the-scenes video, I show you how I put everything together with homemade resources: vocals recorded in my home studio, mixing done with compressors, equalizers, and reverb directly from my DAW. The clean mix contrasts with the street visuals of the shoot, where there is no grandiloquence, just the real vibe of the neighborhood.
The process was raw and authentic. I used fragments from the original long video where I explain plugins, and combined them with visualizers, animated texts, and street shots to give the video structure and make it more than just a technical talk. In addition, I extracted three key reels: one about the history of the beat, another about the mixing process, and another about the actual location of the video.
