Here in my country, the Philippines, nutrition month is celebrated every month of July. Usually, it is scheduled during the last week. On the timeline, as expected my Facebook was flooded with posts relative to it. Former classmates, colleagues with their children joining. Mine was only a year older, so there's no celebration to participate. Thus, two days left before the month ends, I received a message from one of the Barangay health workers inviting me to join a problem. Attendees are parents and toddlers ages from one - three.
As much as I wanted to since our home is only a few walks away, I chose not. Why? Unfortunately, Caleb had a fever. That made us stay at home for the rest of the day.

Honestly I was surprised to know how ayuda was distributed sometimes. Well, it's nice to know that it seemed different this time.
Here is what I received, nope not for me but for my son, Caleb.
There was a buns (bread) but we took it to avoid spoilage., the Brgy official informed me. After expressing my gratitude, I left and checked at home what it consists. As you can see, not that much but I commend the local government for the effort.
150 grams of milk and how I wish it was the other brand. Currently, I am in the process of switching my son's milk. Sadly not this one as I had tried this when he was still six month old. He doesn't like it. Perhaps, I would be giving this to anyone who needs it.
Two bottles of vitamins but only one could be drunk by Caleb.
The other one is for children from two - twelve years old. While the next was okay but the same content with what he currently had. I will try these on him, probably next month.
Biscuits in small size, just enough for wee tummies.
Cheese everyone? This could be added in steam food for him like potatoes and eggs. Cheese for toppings.
