One of the most welcoming places in the city of Camagüey is the Hotel Santamaría. On the ground floor, it has a spacious café that includes the patio of a colonial house. This place is characterized by comfort, good taste, and quality service. Located in the city center, at the intersection of two well-known streets (República and Ignacio Agramonte), in one of the most emblematic squares (Plaza del Gallo), the Santa María is very easy to access.

The offerings are varied. Sometimes, especially during very hot weather, we prefer an iced coffee like a frappuccino; but we can also have a coffee "cortado", espress, cappuccino, or café "bombón". While enjoying coffee, friends and I often chat about our projects, family, or everyday issues.

Some friends are no longer in the country, and their absence is deeply felt at the Santa María. During those times, we make video calls. I remember that for my friend @neuropoeta's birthday, I invited her to meet me there. That day, we enjoyed an aromatic coffee and, while we were there, we called @yuraimatc.
