Queridos Hivers, me voy a adentrar en un terreno bastante complejo, aunque admito que lo hago con respeto y prudencia, porque bien sé que cuando los temas forman parte de un boom, nadie es dueño de la última palabra…esa solo nos llega con el tiempo.
Así pues, hablaré desde mi experiencia personal y académica, también desde una realidad que aún está limitada en el empleo de la inteligencia artificial.
Justamente ayer, cuando daba mis primeros pasos por Ecency, @yuraimatc me hacía hincapié en la necesidad de ser muy respetuosa con las fuentes de donde obtuviera el contenido. Confieso que me sentí cómoda con su aclaración, pues lo mismo sucede cuando publicas en una revista científica. Existen detectores de plagio muy avanzados para encontrar el texto de otro en el del supuesto autor. Cada palabra que no es propia lleva su referencia.
Se llama probidad intelectual. Se le puede asignar cualquier otro nombre, pero siempre se tratará de ser absolutamente honrados.
Le he dedicado a la labor docente los años más hermosos de mi juventud y mi adultez. Aún recuerdo cuando comencé a impartir clases en las aulas de la Universidad de Camagüey, cómo pasaba la mitad de mis horas de descanso en la Biblioteca Provincial. Allí devoraba los libros escritos por los más afamados historiadores de la literatura o los textos de gramática española. Todavía visito la biblioteca, llevo a mis alumnos y les muestro el trabajo con el catálogo, con las fichas bibliográficas… desafortunadamente cada vez me encuentro con menos usuarios. Para mis propios alumnos en ocasiones se trata de su primera experiencia.
Hace unos cuantos años los trabajos investigativos de los estudiantes podían llegar a mis manos con referencias a la Enciclopedia Encarta (E.P.D.), lo cual no estaba mal del todo, salvo porque era la única fuente de información. Luego comenzó el uso y abuso de sitios de Internet poco confiables. Todo ello encontró como colofón el empleo de la inteligencia artificial.
¿Mi posición? Pues ciertamente no es de rechazo, sino (una vez más) de honestidad. Mi consejo para los que escriben un trabajo científico es que se declare en qué momento de la investigación y con qué objetivo se empleó la inteligencia artificial. No lo deje a la astucia de los lectores para que estos se conviertan en sus “detectores”. Lea todo lo que pueda sobre su tema de investigación, consulte a los clásicos y a los más citados. Tenga en cuenta que el resumen de un artículo puede dejar fuera alguna idea que quizás le resulte reveladora. Desconfíe de todo y tenga solo certeza de lo que usted mismo pueda comprobar.
Todos tenemos una experiencia de vida única, también poseemos saberes acumulados que revelan nuestra pertenencia a una cultura. En pocas palabras: tenemos la capacidad de enseñar. En tiempos en que las máquinas parecen resolvernos cada problema, mostrar un pensamiento propio es invaluable. La originalidad del ser humano no puede ser reemplazada. Todos amamos a las personas auténticas, no renunciemos jamás a ser una de ellas.
Finalmente, agradezco a la comunidad @Holos-Lotus por abrir las puertas a mi publicación. Sé que el riesgo del tema que introduzco es grande, pues conozco tantos defensores como detractores. No obstante, mi voto será siempre a favor del uso de la tecnología con ética y responsabilidad.

Dear Hivers, I'm going to delve into rather complex territory, although I admit I do so with respect and caution, because I know full well that when topics are part of a boom, no one has the final say... that only comes to us with time.
So, I'll speak from my personal and academic experience, also from a reality that is still limited in the use of artificial intelligence.
Just yesterday, when I was taking my first steps with Ecency, @yuraimatc emphasized the need to be very respectful of the sources from which I obtained my content. I replied that such clarification was unnecessary, as the same thing happens when you publish in a scientific journal. There are very advanced plagiarism detectors to find someone else's text in that of the supposed author. Every word that is not yours has its reference.
It's called intellectual integrity. Any other name can be assigned to it, but we will always strive to be absolutely honest.
I have dedicated the most beautiful years of my youth and adulthood to teaching. I still remember when I started teaching at the University of Camagüey, spending half of my free time in the Provincial Library. There, I devoured books by the most renowned literary historians and Spanish grammar books. I still visit the library, take my students, and show them how I work with the catalog and the bibliographic records... unfortunately, I encounter fewer and fewer users. For my own students, this is sometimes their first experience.
A few years ago, students' research papers could reach me with references to the Encarta Encyclopedia (R.I.P.), which wasn't entirely bad, except that it was the only source of information. Then the use and abuse of unreliable websites began. All of this culminated in the use of artificial intelligence.
My position? Well, it's certainly not one of rejection, but (once again) of honesty. My advice to those writing a scientific paper is to state the stage of the research and the purpose for which artificial intelligence was used. Don't leave it to the cunning of your readers to become your "detectors." Read everything you can about your research topic, consult the classics and the most cited works. Keep in mind that an article's summary may leave out some insight that you might find revealing. Be wary of everything and only rely on what you can verify for yourself.
We all have unique life experiences; we also possess accumulated knowledge that reveals our belonging to a culture. In short: we have the ability to teach. In times when machines seem to solve every problem for us, showing our own way of thinking is invaluable. Human originality cannot be replaced. We all love authentic people; let's never give up on being one of them.
Finally, I thank the @Holos-Lotus community for opening the doors to my publication. I know that the risk of the topic I introduce is great, since I know as many defenders as detractors. However, my vote will always be in favor of using technology ethically and responsibly.
