I like to play [Hive](https://hive.io/)-based games and at the same time I like to create content about the games in which I am an active player and today I return to share my gaming activity and progress on [dCrops](https://www.dcrops.com/?ref=libertycrypto27). dCrops is a Hive-based farming game that I started playing a long time ago. In fact, it was late May 2021 when I planted my first seeds in the plots of my virtual farm, and today it has been almost 4 years since that day.  When I started playing on dCrops the number of Hive-based games was much less than the number of games playable today. In fact today there are many playable games on Hive and I am an active player on more than 10 Hive-based games. I continue to play on dCrops because it is a game I like and because it is a game that requires very little time to manage especially if you choose, as I did, to play only in the Farm game mode.  I try to make a post on dCrops at least once every 15 days because there are seasons on dCrops and because the beginning of each season is when most of my gaming activity is concentrated. At the time of writing this post, **winter** is in progress. This season started just under a day ago and will end in 14 days and 1 hour.  Every season of dCrops begins for me with the **Claim of the rewards of the seasonal quests** but unfortunately I could not make the claim today because I did not complete all the seasonal quests.  This is perhaps the first time since seasonal quests were introduced that I have not completed my seasonal quests. I forgot to sell 3 Carrot and did not harvest 2 Hot Pepper crops before the end of the season and these two mistakes cost me 16 chests that I rightly did not receive but could have received. Patience! I will try not to make these mistakes in the future but if I have so many commitments in real life it might happen again. Today I clicked on **Get New Quests** to receive **7 new seasonal quests**.  In the next image you can see the 7 winter quests that I have to complete if I want to receive the seasonal reward of 16 chests.  I received 3 quests I can complete and 4 quests I cannot complete because: - I have only 1 Bell Pepper seed instead of the 6 (3+3) required by quests #4 and #7. - I do not have Sweet Potato seeds and I cannot complete the 5th quest and the 6th quest  To change the 4 quests that I cannot complete, I used the reroll feature.  I was very unlucky with the rerolls because I had to use the Reroll feature 8 times and spent 80 CROP but at least now I have 7 out of 7 completed quests.  I continue to follow **my event-oriented strategy** so I only sell crops to complete sell-type quests and will sell crops I have in my inventory during the next dCrops event to earn more event points with the goal of buying packs of cards in the event shop. There are no official announcements yet but the next event may be to celebrate 4 years of dcrops. During each season I like to use the **View Last Season Leaderboard** feature to get useful information about the **number of active players** and **CROP/SHARE ratio** related to the previous season.  **Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players** because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT. In the previous season, **season 95**, players earned **0.389 CROP per SHARE point** with a decrease in CROP gain compared to season 94 (CROP/SHARE = 0.501).   The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important and like to monitor, which is why I share this information in each of my posts on dCrops. Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons. Keep in mind that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.  Starting from season 78 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season. In **season 95** the **active players** were **228** = -6 active players compared to season 94.             The last game operation I perform during each early season is the planting of my seed-type NFTs. I have **102 seeds** that I can plant during the winter season and I have a total of **79 plots** in my lands.  I also have **12 Mystery Seed** which are boosters that when planted become usable seeds only once because they are in-game items and are not NFT like my seeds. In the next image you can see all the seeds I planted today.  I still have 25 seeds left to plant but I will do that when some seeds become crops and I can harvest them. In my 7 Awesome Land I used 7 boosters of the Ferti-Plus type to have a higher probability of harvesting crops of higher rarity.  I like to monitor the token value of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will end this post with a small focus on the value of the **CROP** token. Compared to 14 days ago, the dollar value of the **HIVE** token has increased: **+0.016$ = +6.72%**.
