Moon Karts: How Fast Are Liquidity Bots?
Track 2 (Intermediate Track) Analysis
It is several months that I play and have fun on **[Moonkarts](https://moonkarts.arcadecolony.com/)**, a **Hive-based arcade race game** that is part of the games featured on the [Arcade Colony](https://arcadecolony.com/) platform.

On **September 20, 2025**, Moon Karts introduced **Liquidity Bots** to **eliminate wait times** for starting a race when there aren't many active human players.

In this post, I continue my **analysis of the timing and performance** of **liquidity bots**, shifting the focus to the **second track**, the one of **intermediate length**.

**What are the times you need to beat to get into the top positions** when playing against liquidity bots on the intermediate length track?**
Let's find out together ;)
To analyze the **times of the liquidity bots**, I saved **screenshots** of the final results of some races I played and transcribed the times of the liquidity bots into a **spreadsheet**.
In the next images, you can see the final results of some races I played on the intermediate length track, which formed the basis for my analysis.

I have transcribed all the times into a table so that I can do the calculations.
Then I calculated the average time, and in the next table you can see the twelve liquidity bots sorted by the **average time** taken to complete the intermediate length course on Moon Karts.
In the table below, you can see the twelve liquidity bots sorted by the **best time** taken to complete the intermediate course on Moon Karts.
# Observations
**Total bots analyzed**: 12
**Fastest bot (best time)**: **HDeathStar** (**128.9 s**)
**Fastest bot on average (average time)**: **HRayRay00** (**129.2 s**)
**Slowest bot (worst time)**: **Ejeff** (**212.5 s**)
**Slowest bot on average (average time)**: **EJu571n** (**209.45 s**)
The **fastest bots** are easy to spot because they start with the **letter H**.
Then there are the bots that start with the **letter M** and finally the bots that start with the **letter E**, which are the slowest.
- **Fast bots (best time under 130s):** **HDeathStar, HRayRay00, HFridayEnd**
- **Medium Bots (best time between 154–156s):** MMax99, MRider7, Mggggastar, MKillerB
- **Slow Bots (>180s):** E0wais, EUncorfirm, Ejeff, EJu571n, Elarry
Even **fast bots** such as **HDeathStar** and **HFridayEnd** are capable of achieving **much worse times** than their best times, and in fact, in one race, HFridayEnd crossed the finish line after 208 seconds.
In the races I monitored for this analysis, **my best time** was **120.2 seconds**.
This means that **my Kart Preset** allows me to almost always finish **ahead of the bots**, because **my best time (120.2 s)** is lower than **the best time of the bot HDeathStar (128.90 s)**
**But what times can be achieved with the cheapest Kart Presets?**
If you are a new player and need to build a Kart Preset, **my advice** is to consider a **basic Kart Preset** consisting of at least **four NFTs: Kart + Driver + Tire + Engine**.
For example, if you use a Kart Preset consisting of Kart + Driver, you will be able to play, but you won't enjoy it because when you take a more challenging corner, you'll want to get out of your kart and walk... :)
With the kart preset I suggested, you'll be able to take all the turns without difficulty, even if your times will vary depending on the NFTs you use.
To give you an idea of the times achievable with Kart Presets that are less powerful than mine, I played the same track with **three different types of Kart Presets**.
With the Kart Preset based on level 1 **common NFTs**:
- **Astro Kart** (common kart)
- **Blaze** (common driver)
- **Tire Alignment** (common)
- **Engine Refinement** (common).
It took me **176 seconds**, which is better than the best times of all the slowest kart bots (those starting with the letter E).
However, this kart preset will often lose against medium and fast kart bots.

With the Kart Preset based on **rare NFTs** of level 1:
- **LunocityX** (rare Kart)
- **Blaze** (rare Driver)
- **Tire Tread** (rare)
- **Engine Tune Up** (rare)

It took me **153.9 seconds**.

Based on my test, this time allows you to get ahead of average and slow bots, but not fast bots.
With the Kart Preset based on level 1 **epic NFTs**:
- **Quasar Sport** (Epic Kart)
- **Spark** (Epic Driver)
- **Tire Upgrade** (Epic)
- **Engine Enhancement** (Epic)

It took me **138.1 seconds**.
This time is slower than the best times of the three fastest liquidity bots, but it's still a good time that often allows you to finish first in races against liquidity bots because the fastest bots don't play in all races and, as I showed you in this post, they are capable of achieving times that are much worse than their best times.
