In the last week I have reduced my posting and interaction activity on https://hive.io/ because I have had many work and family commitments. Due to my limited free time I have also reduced my gaming activity in my favorite Hive-based games among which is [Moon Karts](https://moonkarts.arcadecolony.com/). It's 12 days since my last post about Moon Karts and today I return to write about this game by sharing **recent news, my gaming activity** and a **focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value**. **Moonkarts** is a **Hive-based arcade race game** with nice graphics and good gameplay that is part of the games featured on the [Arcade Colony](https://arcadecolony.com/) platform. In fact **on March 5, 2025 the new build was released** which introduced the **changes** you can read about in the next screenshot I took from the Arcade Colony server tech-updates channel.  Screenshot from https://discord.com/invite/TH8gsRPxHM I especially like the introduction of the **Matchmaking Penalty System** because some players used to play with two accounts and quit the game in the pre-race phase when a third player joined.  This penalty system should solve this problem On Moon Karts the competition between players is structured in **seasons** and each season is **10 days** long. At the time I am writing this post, **season 19** is in progress, which started just under 6 days ago and will end in **5 days and 20 hours**.  In the current season I only started playing today but I will try to play at least 50 races before the end of the season. In the previous season, season 18, I had started very well by playing a good number of races during the first days of the season but then due to my work commitments I had to stop my playing activity. I could only check my results in season 18 today. Today I went to the **Notification** section to make the **Claim** of the **season 18** rewards** and to see **my final season results**.  At the beginning of season 17 I had set a goal of finishing at least in the top 8 of both season leaderboards.  In **season 18** my final results were: - **14th place** in the **Ranked Leaderboard** - Reward: **6557 COLONY** - **10th place** in the **Orbital Leaderboard** - Reward: **2164 COLONY**  I have played fewer races compared to season 17 and obviously my game results and game rewards have deteriorated but I am still happy to be able to add more than 8K COLONY to my stake. Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received at the end of season 18.  Adding up the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of **8721 COLONY = 11.51 SWAP.HIVE = 2.84$**  In the last **6 seasons** (60 days) I have earned **45053 COLONY = 59.47 SWAP.HIVE = $14.69**  On Moon Karts there is a mechanism similar to the **SPS boost** mechanism on **Splinterlands** and based on the amount of **COLONY tokens staked** you can have a **Bonus Multiplier**. At the beginning of season 18 I had 83340.21 COLONY staked.  Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 17 and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as [SPS](https://hive-engine.com/trade/SPS) stakeholder and [GLX](https://hive-engine.com/trade/GLX) stakeholder today I was able to add **+8948.08 COLONY (8830.67 COLONY + 117.41 COLONY)** to my stake.  Today I also converted some Hive engine tokens into COLONY tokens. Thanks to these conversions, I accumulated 2123.96 COLONY in my Hive engine wallet.  I transferred these tokens from my Hive engine wallet to my in-game wallet to increase my COLONY stake even more.  Today I staked all the liquid COLONY tokens I had and now I have **93412.25 COLONY staked**. I am less than 7K COLONY away from reaching 100K COLONY staked!  In the next image you can see **my KART preset**.  Compared to the beginning of season 18, I have changed my Driver. Before I had SPARK while now I have **LUNA**.  I preferred LUNA to SPARK because LUNA has better **Speed** and **Acceleration** statistics than SPARK. Gif from my gameplay I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will conclude this post with a **small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens**.
