I am on Hive since March 5, 2019, and I have always set monthly and annual growth goals because **Hive is my favorite blockchain platform and I want to increase my weight and influence on Hive**. On Hive there are **HIVE** tokens and **HBD** tokens but it is only the staked form of HIVE tokens = **Hive Power (HP)** that measures the influence of a Hive account. I shared and set all my annual goals on Hive in the post I published on January 2, 2025: [My 2024 Hive Recap + My 2025 Hive Goals!](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@libertycrypto27/my-2024-hive-recap-my-2025-hive-goals-my-partecipation-in-january-hpud-engita-hf5) Today **March 1, 2025**, in my [Hive Wallet](https://peakd.com/@libertycrypto27/wallet) I have **79653.60 HP**  To monitor my progress toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I built a table in which: - I mark at the beginning of each month my monthly Hive Power increments - I set a goal for the current month that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.  I am very happy with my progress in the month of February because February is the shortest month of the year and despite having fewer days, I increased my Hive Power by a greater amount than in January. In fact in the month of February: - I increased my Hive Power by **+2626.44 HP** (January: +2108.42 HP) - I reached and exceeded my monthly goal which was **2088.44 HP**. I still have to accumulate **20346.40 HP in 10 months** while the goal I have to try to achieve during March is an increase of +2034.64 HP. At the beginning of the year I also set **other goals** and in this post I also explain why I chose each of these goals. In 2025 I would like to: - **Publish at least 300 posts** (in 2024 I published 281 posts). - Maintain a **Comments/Posts ratio > 20** = Write at least 20 comments for each of my posts. I chose this goal because: - **consistency in publishing** is one of the important factors in growing on Hive. - **interaction** is a very important element on Hive If I don't read and comment on other authors' posts why should other authors read and comment on mine? During the month of February, I wrote **427 comments** and published **25 posts**.  This is a monthly result that I don't like because during February my **Comments/Posts** ratio was 17 while my goal is to exceed a value of 20 on an annual basis.  Tracking my progress on a monthly basis is very helpful for me because it shows me where I need to improve, and in March I will commit to writing more comments and thus engage in more interaction. Another goal I want to achieve in 2025 is **to consistently maintain my non-delegate Hive Power always above 75%** of my total HP. My motivation for choosing this goal is simple: **Why should other authors support me if I do not support other authors?** I often see active authors on Hive who delegate 90%-100% of their HP and in my opinion make a mistake that is counterproductive for them in the medium to long term because they lose the opportunity to build connections and build a future support base... My non-delegated HP is 83.33% of my total HP and my monthly check went well!  The other goals I set at the beginning of the year that I would like to achieve in **2025** are: - Try to enter the **top 200 of the Hivers with the most HP**. On February 1, I was in 226th place while today I am in 223rd place. I have moved up 3 places but still have 23 places to go.  - **Support at least 80 different authors on a weekly basis** In the last 7 days I have supported 92 different accounts with my upvotes  - **Participate in all Hive Power Up Days in 2025**. I haven't missed a HPUD since August 2022 ||| |-|-| ||| In February, I accumulated few liquid HIVE because I set my post rewards to 100% Power Up and because I used the SWAP.HIVE I earned from selling some tokens to buy tokens and NFT of some **Hive-based games** I play.
