The list of **Hive Games** I play continues to grow because there are **so many playable games** on **[Hive](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-hive)** and there are also **so many game projects in development** including the [CrafInk](https://playcraftink.com/) project that released a **idle mini game** (**CraftInk Idle Mode**) a few days ago that will precede the release of the full game (**CraftInk**). The first season ended yesterday October 4 at 10 pm UTC but I received a prize four days ago because **all participants in the first season received 1 Booster Pack** = 1 [INKCEO](https://hive-engine.com/trade/INKCEO) token.  In the first season I built a Team cute because it consisted of 4 adorable kittens (I love cats :) and a Chess Player but at the same time I created a very weak team. In my card collection I had better cards but I was limited in my choice by the number of my Fillink type NFTs: 15 Fillink.  Despite lining up a very weak team I got many draws and finished the season in fifth place in the ranking.  I played the first season without having delved well into the mechanics of the game so today I went to the **CraftInk discord server** and asked for more information about the game and **asked some questions** to learn more about the mechanics of the game with the goal of being more competitive in the second season of the game.  I would like to thank @quekery who was very kind in answering all my questions clearly and extensively. My first question was: ### How long do Craftink Idle Mode seasons last? You can read the answer in the following screenshot.  My second question was: ### What do the numbers and symbols on the CraftInk cards indicate? You can read the answer in the following screenshot.  My third question was: ### How many ranking positions will be rewarded? You can read the answer in the following screenshot.  My fourth question was: ### What will be the use of INK tokens within the game? You can read the answer in the following screenshot.  Thanks again to quekery who, with his answers, clarified some aspects of the game that I did not understand.   ## My Choices and Strategy For The Second Season of CraftInk Idle Mode  To play the CraftInk mini game you must **register a team** on the first day of each season.  The **first requirement** to register one's team is to have **a minimum of 15 Fillink-type NFTs** (**FILLINK CAP**). The **maximum number of Fillink** NFTs that can be used is **45**. With **45 Fillink** you can use a **maximum of 5 cards** that have a **total **cost in Fillink = 30**. I who have **15 Fillink** can use a **maximum of 5 cards** that have a **total **cost in fillink = 0**. In order to be more competitive in the second season, I decided to increase the number of Fillink-type NFTs in my possession. Today I opened the Booster Pack I received as a gift to see if I could find Fillink cards inside.  In the booster pack I opened I found **1 Fillink** and brought the amount of Fillink in my possession to **16**. Then I went to the **Collection** section to choose the best cards in my deck based on the **Dice** attribute (the number in the red square at the bottom right of the cards) and to calculate the total cost in Fillink. In the image below you can see my 5 cards that have the highest Dice attribute and that I would like to line up in season 2.  In order to use the 5 cards I just showed you I must have **41 NFT Fillink** in my collection but I only have **16** so I would have to buy 25 more Fillink. I went to the **Market** section of Craftink and noticed that **Fillink** cards cost a minimum of **5.5 SWAP.HIVE = $1.65**. Based on this price **I prefer to buy Booster Packs** which have a **cost of $3** but contain **5 cards** and there is a high probability of finding Fillink cards inside the booster packs because Fillink cards are common cards.  _{Screenshot from: https://peakd.com/craftink/@craftink/craftink-fomoink-friday-meetup-or-1st-booster-release--giveaway} *** Today I purchased **5 Booster Packs** and spent **15,054 HBD**  In the following image you can see the cards I found inside the 5 packs I opened.   I found **9 Fillink** and also a **Holo Uncommon** card: Finance Blogger  Now I have a total of **25 Fillink** and can choose **maximum 5 cards** that have a **total cost in Fillink equal to 10**. In the image below you can see the cards I have chosen to form my team that I will use in the second season of CraftInk Idle Mode. The cards in the **first two positions attack**. The cards in the **last two positions defend**. The card in the **central position attacks and defends**.  Compared to the band of kittens I used in the first season I think I improved my team a lot :) Looking at the cards for sale on the market I also found **Holo** cards (very hard to find in Booster packs) at a price of **1 SWAP.HIVE** each and decided to buy them. I purchased **8 Holo** cards and spent **8 SWAP.HIVE**! It seemed like a good purchase but I will only find out the goodness of my choice in the future!  I now have 10 Holo cards in my card collection.  At the end of the second season I will decide whether to buy more Booster Packs to increase the amount of Fillink in my possession in order to field an even stronger Team. I will also monitor the market to see if any players will offer Fillink cards for sale at lower prices than they currently are.
