My Double Game Activity in the Modern Format + My Survival Mode Game Experience
My Achievements in Season 154 and My Next Steps in the Current Season
The **season 155** is underway on Splinterlands, which started less than two days ago and will end in 13 days and just under 21 hours.
The previous season, **season 154**, was the first season to have **three Ranked Play type game modes** because the new **Survival Mode** was added to the long-established **Wild Format** and **Modern Format** game modes.

Tomorrow, March 18, 2025, **Splinterlands will introduce three new features** including the lands functionality update (**Land 1.75 Update**).

# My dual game activity in Modern Format
In **season 152** I started a **test in the Modern Format** in which I used my alt account, @libertygame27, with which I played manually.
The result of my test in season 152 was positive because I enjoyed playing manually with two accounts instead of one and because I ended the season with a profit = +1.21$

Based on the positive results of my first test I decided to continue playing manually in the Modern Format with two accounts instead of one.
So in season 154 I played in the Modern Format with:
- @libertycrypto27 (my main account) -> [Cards](https://peakmonsters.com/@libertycrypto27/cards)
- @libertygame27 (my curation account for SPT tokens) -> [Cards](https://peakmonsters.com/@libertygame27/cards)
With @libertycrypto27 in the Modern Format:
- I use a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of **939 cards = 28405 BCX = 603155 CP**
- I have a **SPS stake =** 131K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = **81K effective**
- **no rental cards** from the market
With @libertygame27 in Modern Format:
- I use a card collection (delegated by libertycrypto27 + soulbound) consisting of **214 cards = 7815 BCX = 83635 CP**
- i have a **SPS stake = 50K** delegated by libertycrypto27
- in each season **rent some cards from the market** to increase the strength in battle

I have played more battles with my main account because I can play simultaneously with both accounts only when I play from my desktop computer which has four monitors and multitasking is very facilitated.
When I have free time and only have my notebook I only play with my main account.

The balance between rental income and rental expenses was slightly negative: -124.01 DEC.
This negative balance was amply surpassed by the gain in SPS earned by my alt account (libertygame27) which earned 329.95 SPS from battle victories.

Based on the current market values of the HIVE token, the SPS token (highest bid value), and the DEC token (Lowest Ask value), I calculated the net gain I made from playing with my two accounts.

With my main account I have made good progress in upgrading Rebellion Reward cards.
Today I spent 75K Glint to purchase 100 Rare Draw ([My Opening Results](https://splinterlands.com/shop/rewards?t=30e653309c48f87abf2b2ace48ddc342d32a43ec&ref=libertycrypto27)).
15 days ago I completed the upgrade of the common Rebellion Reward cards.
With the cards I found in the 100 Rare Draw I opened today, I almost completed the upgrade of the Rebellion Reward rare cards.
Today I also purchased 10 Epic Draw in which I found the cards you can see in the next image.

Even with libertygame27 I am making progress in upgrading Rebellion reward cards although, having only started playing for a few seasons, I still have many draws to purchase.

# My gaming experience in the new Survival mode.
My first season in Survival Mode was positive from a playful point of view because I had fun playing.
At the same time it was an unsuccessful season from the point of view of game results because I played only 48 battles of which 17 battles were won and 31 battles were lost.
My current problem in survival mode is that I have few summoner cards and many monster cards.
In fact out of 1091 cards that I can use in Survival Mode I only have 28 summoner cards enabled in this format.
If I exclude the cards I have delegated to other players, the number of summoner cards I can use in Survival Mode is reduced to 24 summoner cards.
This means that if I lose 25 battles in one day, I cannot play in Survival Mode and have to wait for the cooldown period to end.
The strategy that I will follow this season will allow me to play more battles by taking advantage of the fact that at each season start the cooldown is reset.
In this beginning of the season I will play as many battles as possible until I run out of all my available summoners.
On the last day of the season, after completely emptying the energy bar in Modern Format, I will use in Survival Mode all the summoners and all the cards I use in Modern Format.
At the beginning of the next season I will exclude the cards I use in Modern Format through the use of the Custom Set feature to rehabilitate them on the last day of the season.
If you don't know Survival Mode you can read the post I wrote and published recently in which I showed how to exclude cards you don't want to use in Survival Mode to avoid the Cooldown period for cards used in a battle lost in this format.

# My last battles played in Modern Format and Survival Mode.
I conclude this post by showing **my last three battles won in Modern Format and Survival Mode to show the difference in SPS gain in different leagues and with different amount of staked SPS**.

My gains in SPS per battle won in Survival Mode are very small compared to my gains in Modern Format but will increase if I can move up in the higher leagues.
In the current season, I will try to increase the number of battles played and try to improve my game results especially in Survival Mode.
