On Splinterlands, I am an active player in all game modes except Wild Format and Tournaments.  My favorite game modes are **Modern Format** and **Frontier Format** because in these formats there are no private bots that completely ruin my fun. ||| |-|-| In my opinion, **Frontier Mode** is **the best and most recent addition**, and the more I play it, the more I enjoy it. In my previous [post](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@libertycrypto27/my-frontier-progress-upgrading-marlai), I shared my purchase of two copies of **Marlai Singariel**.  Screenshot from https://monstermarket.io/ I spent 1277.92 DEC = $0.89 to purchase two copies of Marlai Singariel, and thanks to this purchase, I was able to upgrade to level 2.   My decision to upgrade proved to be the right one because when I had Marlai Singariel at level 1, I was stuck in the Silver I league and couldn't advance to the Gold leagues. On the same day that I upgraded Marlai Singariel from level 1 to level 2, I entered the **Gold III** league and never dropped back down to Silver I. At the time of writing this post, I am in the **Gold III** league with a **rating score** of **2040**. Playing in the Gold III league gave me a nice boost in upgrading my Foundation cards because I started receiving chests as daily rewards instead of cards, and I also increased the number of entries for weekly draws.   After five days of playing in Frontier Format, I received several chests and made **several upgrades**. I increased the level of two archons: - **Thalgrimore**: level 1 -> level 2  - **Incessant Sage**: l level 1 -> level 2  I have increased the level of several unit cards. |||| |-|-|-| |||| |||| I am especially happy to have received **my first Black Foil Foundation Card** in the latest weekly draw: **New Beluroc Aegis**.   On Splinterlands, I have always been more a gamer than a card collector because if a card is not very useful to me in the game, I prefer to sell it to buy cards that I would use frequently in battles. I decided to **put my New Beluroc Aegis BF up for sale** because: - In Frontier, I can use two level 1 archons and three level 2 archons, and even though my New Beluroc Aegis BF is level 5, I can only use it at level 3 stats.  - I have 1 Level 3 New Beluroc Aegis Regular and 1 Level 4 New Beluroc Aegis Gold Foil  - If I sell New Beluroc Aegis BF, I can use the earnings to increase the level of all my archons, thereby increasing my chances of advancing to the Gold II league. - In the Modern Format, I have cards with better stats, so I would be unlikely to use it in battle. So today, I put my New Beluroc Aegis Black Foil up for sale.   I conclude this post by showing my two most recent battles in which I used New Beluroc Aegis Black Foil!
