My Moon Kart Progress & Analysis of My Results in Season 38:
251 Races Played and 49541 COLONY Earned!
It is several months that I play and have fun on **[Moonkarts](https://moonkarts.arcadecolony.com/)** which is a **Hive-based arcade race game** that is part of the games featured on the [Arcade Colony](https://arcadecolony.com/) platform.

Yesterday, September 26, 2025, season 38 ended and season 39 began.
Season 38 was not like other seasons because there was a new and interesting development: **Moon Karts introduced liquidity kart bots**.
**12 kart bots with different difficulty levels** have been introduced, which enter matchmaking when there is only one human player waiting for 20 seconds.
I really appreciated the introduction of kart bots because now there is no more waiting in matchmaking when there aren't many active human players.
Keep in mind that kart bots do not receive rewards and generally do not collect in-game items on the race track (colony and orbital items), but they may do so if, for example, they are pushed towards the in-game items by a human player.
In the next images, you can see the final results of some races I played against kart bots if you want to get an idea of the race times that kart bots can achieve compared to a human player like me.

I think kart bots will also be useful for onboarding new players.
I say this based on my personal gaming experience and because in the past I have received comments under my posts from players who had tried to play but then gave up due to the long wait to find another active player.
Regarding my gaming activity, the presence of kart bots has allowed me to play many more races than in previous seasons.
On Moon Karts, seasons last 10 days and there are **three reward mechanisms**:
- **Ranked Leaderboard** = seasonal reward mechanism based on ranking points
In each race, all players earn ranking points according to this division:
- 1st place: +10 ranking points
- 2nd place: +8 ranking points
- 3rd place: +6 ranking points
- 4th place: +4 ranking points
- 5th place: +2 ranking points
- 6th place: +1 ranking point
- **Orbitals Leaderboard** = seasonal reward mechanism based on **orbitals points**
In each race, there are six orbitals along the route.
Orbitals are in-game items.
To earn orbital points, you must collect at least 2 orbitals.
The amount of orbital points earned in each race depends on the type and rarity of the NFTs that make up the Kart Preset.
- **Reward mechanism for individual races.**
Players who finish in the top two positions in a single race receive a COLONY token reward that is influenced by ranking points and the **staking factor = the amount of COLONY tokens staked**, which defines a **bonus multiplier** based on the rating score.

# Analysis of my results and rewards in season 38
The introduction of liquidity bots has had a positive effect on the number of races I have played, because I have significantly increased the number of races played in season 38 compared to the previous season.
In fact:
- in season 37, I played 87 races
- in season 38, I played **251 races**
I like to monitor my gaming activity, and in season 38, I took note of:
- the number of races I played
- the rating points I earned after each race
- my final position in each race
- the amount of Orbitals and Colony collected in each race
- the amount of FUEL consumed
In the next image, you can see my results in each of the races I played in season 38.
In season 38, I used this Kart Preset:
- Kart: **Arachno Eclipse**
- Driver: **Drift**
- Accessories: **Flex Edge, Jet Flow, Grip Ease**
- Tech Cards: **Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement**
- Fuel Consumption: **260.2** (first 10 races)
I started and ended the season with **601885.42 COLONY staked**.
In the **first race**:
- I finished **first** (+10 ranking points)
- I collected **3 orbitals** and **7 COLONY** along the way (in-game items that do not correspond to COLONY tokens)
- I earned **2.28 COLONY**
In the **251st race**:
- I finished **first** (+10 ranking points)
- I collected **4 orbitals** and **6 COLONY** along the way
- I earned **55 COLONY**
I showed you the results of the first and last races to highlight how the COLONY token rewards per race increase as the number of races played increases and, consequently, as the ranking points increase.
Considering only the rewards won in individual races, I earned a total of **6655 COLONY**.
I earned an average of 26.51 COLONY per race played, and my final rating was 3483.
In **season 38**, **my final results in the two leaderboards** were:
- **4th place** in the **Orbital Leaderboard** - Reward: **33002 COLONY** (previous season: 5th place: 11723 COLONY)
- **6th place** in the **Ranked Leaderboard** - Reward: **9884 COLONY** (previous season: 7th place: 9390 COLONY)
In season 38 (for the first time), I also tracked the number of in-game items I collected along the race tracks and the amount of FUEL I consumed:
- Total Colony items (not tokens): 1362
- Total Orbital items: 1159
- Total Fuel Consumed: 69682
Considering all the rewards I received in season 38 (races + leaderboards rewards), I earned: **+49541 COLONY**.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of [COLONY] tokens (https://hive-engine.com/trade/COLONY) and the market value of HIVE tokens ($0.18), I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 38.

Adding up all the rewards I earned (races + leaderboards), I received a total seasonal reward of **49541 COLONY = 32.16 SWAP.HIVE = $5.78**
I have summarized my total seasonal results in tabular form.
Thanks to the rewards I earned in season 37 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from the daily airdrop as an [SPS](https://hive-engine.com/trade/SPS) stakeholder and [GLX](https://hive-engine.com/trade/GLX) stakeholder, today I added **+49845.63 COLONY** to my stake.

I now have **651731.06 COLONY staked**.
I would like to accumulate 1 million staked COLONY, and I have completed 65.17% of my goal.
In season 38, I achieved and exceeded the goal I had set for myself: to play at least 200 races.
In the current season, I will try to achieve a goal that I have never achieved before: **to play at least 300 races**.-*
I have played 17 races this season, and in the images below you can see the partial results of the two leaderboards.
I will continue to have fun playing Moon Kart this season and will have fun also trying to improve my game results and seasonal rewards.
