On Splinterlands the **season 155** is in progress, which is almost at an end because there are only 15 hours and 47 minutes left until the end of the season.  I have been playing on Splinterlands since September 2019 and today, more than 5 years after my first game battle, Splinterlands is still my favorite blockchain-based game.  On Splinterlands you can play on **three Ranked game modes**: - **Wild Format**: it is possible to use cards from all sets, Wild Pass must be paid each season, multi-accounts, bots and battle helpers are allowed - **Modern Format**: only cards from the last two sets released in time order can be used, multi-accounts are allowed but bots and battle helpers are prohibited - **Survival Mode**: it is possible to use cards from all sets, multi-accounts, bots and battle helpers are allowed |Modern Format|Wild Format|Survival Mode| |-|-|-| |||| **My favorite format is Modern Format** because I like to play manually and because in Modern Format bots and battle helpers are banned and I can play only with human players like me. Today I am especially happy to be able to share **a gaming achievement that I have not reached since the year 2021**. In fact, in 2021 I was often playing in the Champion leagues of Wild Format **Today after more than 3 years I am returning to play in the Champion III league**.  For me, this is a great gaming result that I am pleased to share in my Hive blog. Returning to play in the third most important league in Splinterlands is a reason of satisfaction for me also because I have a good collection of cards that can be used in Modern Format but I do not have a completely top level collection.  My current **rating score = 3700** places me at rank 207 in the Diamond seasonal rankings.  I also received the CHAMPION III LOOT for the first time although I was not particularly lucky with the contents of the chests. Even if I will lose many battles and go back to the Diamond I league I will still be glad that I at least made it to the Champion III league! I reached the Champion III league thanks to 4 consecutive wins and I have to thank player GUYFROMAJAX because, by surrendering in the last battle, he allowed me to gain 40 rating points with which I made the jump from a rating = 3660 to a rating = 3700.  In this post I will share **my daily game activity in Modern Format** and from this part of the post onwards I will alternate between game and writing phases because I will write this post contextually with my game activity. Will I be able to improve my rating or will I make it worse? Let's find out together! In my **first battle** I met a player with a **Power above 4 million** but a slightly higher rating than mine. Unfortunately I start my game session on the wrong foot because I had to step away from the pc and I run out of time :( First battle and first defeat and return to Diamond I league.  Second battle, the Going to Distance ruleset is one of my favorites because I have a good number of useful cards in the presence of this particular ruleset that forces you to use only cards with attack from distance. Out of 11 battles: - I lost 8 battles - I won 3 battles - I gained **2102 GLINT** - I gained **21.12 SPS** It was not a good game session for me considering my season win rate which is higher than the win rate I got in the last 11 battles played but I still have 30 energy points to use = 30 battles to play before the end of the season.  I will continue to play before the end of the season and try to finish the season at least in the Champion III league. When I have used up all my energy points I will enable all my cards to Survival Mode and play in Survival Mode until all my summoners enter Cooldown Mode. I will follow this strategy because at the beginning of each season the cooldown reset of the cards eliminated in Survival Mode battles occurs.
